Subliminal Messages? Why Hide 'em
 

Im currently taking an online course in Flash. The current project we are working on involves using sound bites for lip syncing. Someone posted a link that was part of the FOX network. I then followed another link which brought me to a games section. Once there it was easy to see that this was designed for small children. There are different free games for choosing available.

I entered one and began playing. Then I started hearing something caught my attention. The faster the game play became the clearer I seem to hear what I had to assume was just me listening to hard. I posted what I heard in my class for others to hear, the reaction was deep concern by most. Three of them are writing Fox to complain. One started conversing about a communication conspiracy which I wont go into.

I wanted to post a poll to anyone that has moment to check this out and see if people are over reacting or concern for adolecent exposure is justified. Personally I dont think its straighforward enough for any action to be taken, but I do question what is trying to be said here if anything.

One big reason these things appear all over the place is because there are a lot of so-called creative people who get low-level jobs in advertising instead of becoming the famous artists they think they deserve to be. They have a lot of sad fun hiding things in ads and media. It's not all insidious corporate planning. The end result just adds to the garbage we live in and call our cultural environment...

Someone told me this was the doing of Ruppert Murdock (of FOX)intentionally. Its hard for me to se it. I understand throwing sex into various forms of media with the intent that it will boost sells or other agenda, but with things like this Im puzzled.

I was reading in another thread about Disney classics carrying a message to children Bambi growing alone, Dumbo alone without parents, Pinnoccio (msp?) running away, Lion King screwing everything there anit no worries Hakuma. . . , Peter Pan, etc. I dont see what the purpose would be if any of that were true.

Im going to start going through the stop smoking ads produced by Phillips and Morris.

There's nothing subversive about this. What's being heard as 'fuck islam' is actually 'fried ricer'. I've fallen asleep with the TV on on a friday night and woken up to this cartoon so many times. It's just a pokemon ripoff, where all the little creatures can only say their names. If we should be complaining to fox about anything, it's for having stupid cartoons. I demand to see Astroboy!

Same here. Heard just jibberish. Jollygood Jibberish. I have heard about this stuff in the past, but no one has ever been able to show me pics or examples...anyone got a good one?

i heard suckasa at first, but i think if you think about it enough, it does sound like fuck us all. I'm not sure if it is intentional or not though.

Disney does some pretty bad stuff though. In Alladin, Alladin tells the girl "take off your clothes" if yo uturn it up and in the Litlle Mermaid, the priest gets a boner in the wedding.
