So far I haven't made a purchase that really displeased me. I'm a fan of Lumines and Zuma for puzzle games. I love Catan! Pac-Man CE is a fun time-waster. There are so many I want to get though...

Castlevania SOTN. But I've also been accused of being a wee bit of a nerd.
Otherwise, TMNT and Doom are always classics.....and party games. I can't count how many times I've had people over and we hopped on one of them and found it suddenly 3:00 in the a of the m. ~Drego

Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo.
I was so amazingly excited when I heard they were bringing this to XBLA. Favorite puzzle game of all time for me. Besides that, Worms turned out to be pretty fun, and I can waste way too much time playing Hexic.

worms is fuckin awesome, castlevania SOTN is fucking awesome.
Uno of course is a blast to play, Texas holdem is fun of course. The free game they released whatever its called is fun if you play with others. Doom is great as always! I haven't paid for any of the games that I wish I hadn't as of yet

Geometry Wars is hard as hell, but quite a bit of fun. Hexic HD is a classic puzzler, as is Bejeweled 2. <3 XBLA

I am up to about 20 XBLA games
My favorite is Catan. But I also love the puzzle type game Hexic 1 and 2, Lumine Lives, Jewel Quest and as weird as it seems Soltrio Solitaire. (playing solitaire on a powerful machine like the 360 ) I can't say I am not happy with any game I bought because of demo. But the top of this category would be New Rally-x But one game I use to enjoy, but I am having problem is UNO. The game is classic, nice and easy, but it is becoming impossible to play on-line. Most of the time I find guys who only wait to catch boobs on the camera!!! ... I like boobs, but not necessary to see them on my 360 |

Castlevania SOTN is great old school platform fun. Geometry wars is mindless and very very pretty. Golden Axe is only good for nostalgia value. There are a lot of games that are on there which are fun. My wife is addicted to rootbeer tapper. |

I picked up Aegis wing a week ago or so (its a FREE XBLA game) and its really very good. The multi-player is interesting too. And it has achievements, which is pretty damn good for a free game. Its a really intense game, you gotta dodge stuff by millimeters sometimes.

What I play on XBL:
Texas Hold 'Em Heavy Weapon Uno There really are no bad purchases when it comes to Xbox Live Arcade. I always find myself in a mood to play something they offer. Aegis Wing I just couldn't get into, I probably just need to play it some more. Heavy Weapon is addicting as all hell though. |

I downloaded Carcasonne while it was free the other day, and I might like it more than Catan (not that Catan is bad). Both are good adaptations of tabletop gaming brought to the console. Well worth checking out!

My favorite ones are Puzzle Quest, Catan, Carcassonne, Geometry Wars and Undertow, in that order. It's getting a bit hard to find good games for Catan unfortunately, usually I have to wait until my buddies get online. Carcassonne is good but Catan gives you more ability to screw over everyone else. My friend is still pissed at me for this one time I traded away all my ore then used the monopoly card to get it all back, netting me the win.

Man Geometry wars is brilliant. I'm a fan of the demos of the new Arkadian Warriors (online co-op for that game could be sick), and likewise with Assault heroes.
Castlevania is obviously incredible.
