3.13.07 is the date...
for GOD OF WAR 2!!!
Is anyone else excited about this game and it's release? I have seen many of the same few screen shots online, and the same couple videos on different media outlets, so could this game not live up to the legacy set forth in the first one, or are they holding back on purpose to get us that much more excited about it when it finally comes out? |
I'm definitely excited. IGN gave it a 9.7 and said that they basically perfected the things that was wrong with the first game, even though there wasn't much to perfect on because the first God of War was damn impressive.
|
it's going to be great, i busted out the original to play it on bery hard mode to get prepared, im on the part where all the kratos come out and attack you and your wife, it's so damn hard on very hard :(
|
damn this looks like a great game! and i still didn't have time to beat the 1st one. :paranoid: i might pick it up at the end of the summer when i get more time.
|
I found out about this about a week after I sold my PS2. I'm gutted.
I'm pretty sure it's worth buying another one for! |
OMG! I wish my PS2 wasn't 2000 miles away!
|
I will be playing it on my PS3, so I will lose a bit graphically, but it should still be impressive.
I have been playing through the first one again, just to get used to all the controls again hopefully no big changes for this one and they keep the controls the same. |

do u really lose some graphics when u play it on PS3, i don;t have a ps3 i was just curious |
I haven't played the first, but I've heard good things.
I only really play Winning Eleven anymore, but maybe I'll check out GoW2. |

As for GoW II if you reserved from Gamestop you'll get your copy a day earlier like me :) Game looks awesome and I can't wait to get my copy. |
I'm very excited for this one.
I'm not crazy about sequels, but I think for this one, I'll make an exception. There wasn't much wrong with the first game--and it was very, very fun to play--and I've read that GoW II is all the first game was and more. |
I loved the first one and am looking forward to this one - GoW and Prince of Persia are probably some of my most favorite last-gen games...
|
Just got my copy and just finished playing for about two hours. So far I'm enjoying myself just as much as I did with the first game. No glaring problems or annoyances yet so I'm happy.
|
so far im extremely happy as well :)
|
this game is a blast.
The storyline has turned out to be amazing so far and an excellent intro into a 2nd game. The graphics on the ps3 look the slightest bit jaggy, but nothing horrible and I did just download an update for the system so that may be what is making them look smoother than other ps2 games, or it just could be the game itself is that polished. 2 hours into it and loving every minute of it, now if I could just tear myself away long enough to sleep before I go to work tonight. |
ur telling me dude, i've been playing pretty much since my last post
THIS GAME IS A MUST HAVE FOR THE PS2 |
This game is absolutely fucking amazing. It is indeed a must have title for the PS2. Only a few hours in myself and loving every minute.
|
I picked it up yesterday and I had a hard time putting it down. (I had to sleep, right?)
I've only just past the Prometheus part, but so far it's awesome. Ripping arms of soldiers and beating them to death with them....is just too cool for school, jack. :) |
im on the end boss if u've played through the very begining u should be able to guess who the end boss is
it's hard as shit |
I find myself sitting at work dreaming about getting home to play this, now I have the next 4 hours to just sit here and veg out until it is time for bed.
|
Alright, so how do I pass this room where there are tow switches? I have a body which I've put in the middle, and there is another switch on the other side of some down gates with some sewer water rushing behind it. Can't seem to figure this one out. Help? lol
|
I got stuck there for a while too. Here's how you solve the puzzle. Spoiler: First, there are two breakable walls in that area. One on the left and one on the right of the chamber. Both lead to areas of running water. So carry the body to the water on the right side of the room. Drop it in the stream, it'll float away and reappear in the stream on the other side of the room(the left side) in a few seconds. If you run as soon as you drop the body you should get to the other stream before the body reappears without any trouble. Pick up the body before it floats away and drop it on the circle. Hop across the gate to the circle in the main area and stand on it. You'll need to roll forward in order to make it through the gate before it closes.

just beat it a little while ago.
the ending is cool and frustrating because i now have to wait till the next game to see how this i gonna end |
