Saints Row
I've played the demo through Xbox Live on my 360 and I WANT MORE. Luckily I have only to wait a couple more weeks! My favorite new thing over the GTA series is who when you have a head on collision the people in the cars go literally through the windshield!!!
Anyone else played it and want to comment? |
I haven't had a chance yet, but if it's good, it's going to be the game that makes me bite the bullet and get a 360 for myself as apposed to stealing my neighbors.

The flying through the window thing was funny a few times but there's alot about Saint's Row that just feels generic. The voice acting sounded amateur even though there's some good actor's like Keith David and Michael Rapaport doing the voices. I'll probably buy the game because I've played everything else. It's definitely a GTA Clone, not a GTA Killer.

I haven't had too much time to mess around with it, so...caveat lector, eh?
It does feel a bit generic and so far, I've not seen anything remotely interesting mission-wise. On the other hand, I like recruiting and I love plowing over innocent bystanders as I evade the cops. |
Was in two minds wether to buy this, as in England this and dead rising released the same time, will have a try of the demo

This game seems to me to be exactly what i hope the next gta isn't: a graphically updated clone lacking in any interesting changes from the one before it.

I'm really enjoying this game. It looks great in HD and although it is most certainly a GTA clone, it has enough neat features that it is really fun to play. The story (at least so far) is interesting, the cars are fun (no motorcycles, boats, planes tho) and the side missions are in some cases, really really fun.
I'd have to recommend this game to anyone who liked GTA Vice City and was looking for more of the same, but now with HD goodness. |
