I have just purchased a 50inch HDTV, and I was wondering if anyone has had a good expierence with higher resolution games?

And if so, what do you recommend?

I have the XBOX and PS2.

hdtv arcade has a decent list of resolution/aspect ratios for all the major systems.

here's a link to the xbox list to get you started.

remember that you may have to purchase aftermarket connection media to get a true high def picture befitting your display's capabilities.

If you really want to take advantage of that TV, get a 360. Then you will see some SWEET looking games...

right now a 360 is the only way to go, if you haven't already seen it being played on someone else's hdtv, you're missing out!
