While playing EVE, my lastest facination, I came across someone who spouted out in a chat channel: "Should I get my cruiser skill or Pleasurehub tonight?" So I asked him what it was, he gave some vague answer about how it's a "self-fulfilling site" so I looked it up (first on a google search)

I haven't known anyone else to do this, a first as far as I know. 500K ISK (in game cash) gets you a once month subscription to this porn site. I haven't tried it out, but I'll let you know how it goes ;)

In other news, I've also heard some WoW people have been offering "pics" for gold. The first one turned out to be a fake, but others have actually latched onto the idea from what I've seen and read.

Actually I've heard some WoW players are in such disbelief that there's a girl playing with them that they ask or even require the girl to post a picture of herself. Pretty pathetic.

I don't see why it should matter whether or not its actually a girl playing. Most girls in WoW do not go around telling everyone that they are girls so for the ones that do that, I just assume they are 40 year old men.

I can't tell you how many times I've gotten this.

"OMG ur not a gurl" and then they go on to say how I can't possibly be a girl, especially after I REFUSE to post a picture for them to see.

Stupid boys.

We did once come across a 56-year-old guy posing as a girl...that was a bit odd.

I'll be honest, I pose as a female on some RPGs if I don't feel like working for the items or grinding out the levels. This usually happens if I get bored with my first character and decide to make more.

You'd be surprised the number of items and offers to power level you get when you're female.

Back in my EQ days, I had been playing for a year or so and my wife decided she wanted to try, so we rolled a couple of chars and setoff to play. I was a level or so ahead of her, and she decided to catch up one afternoon. She ran into a guy that started talking to her, and being the chatty person she is, he ended up completely twinking her out, and some damn decent stuff. I saw her gear (and she had no idea that most of the stuff was 30-40 levels higher than she was, and was shocked.

Well, she ended up not liking the game so I took her stuff for another char, but that gave me and a buddy of mine an idea. So we rolled a couple of female wood elves, and tryed to act "girlie" (probably over did it to) and be damned guys started giving us stuff, high levels offered to Power-level us, the whole time we are laughing our asses off, and at the same time ashamed of our gender..

Yea... MMORPGs seem to favor women to men. An interesting reversal, but I've always been pissed at male friends who play as females and end up 20 levels higher than me with better gear.. because of a generous "male" benefactor.

I usually always play as female characters in MMO's though. I personally think they make the male characters look like douches. Especially in WoW and GW. I have never tried to gain any sort of advantageous gear or power leveling though.

Back on the topic of the pleasurehub... just looks like some site some guy threw together from easily obtainable pictures on the internet to get some easy cash ingame. I've been playing the trial account for a few days and 500k ISK is really easy to obtain, but I would bet that all of the images hosted on that site could be found just as easily anywhere else on the internet.
