I think it might've been a different video (or maybe the same one) also taken from MTV's "sweet sixteen" show. Actually, no, it was a viral ad for something, disguised as a home video of a girl getting a "dope" car, but crying because it wasn't the color she wanted.
I do think they encourage extreme behaviour, though. In my old high school in Miami, a few yrs after I left, there was a "Made" show (MTV tries to help people to become what they wanna be, they almost never succeed) about a chick trying to be part of the schools hip hop dancing team. I heard from people there that they paid her to cry and shit. However, I don't doubt for a minute that there are kids who are this spoiled. And parents let them. Let that bitch get her own car. I recommend City of God(5 star), Amelie, Taxi Driver, The Aviator, Knocked Up. I'll try and post more in the next posts.

will do I know the plots and stories, but I never took the initiative to see these great movies before.
I am off to find that damned thread of the spoiled brat and her car... it was distinct because someone mentioned about abandoning the girl in Somalia... i think some mod MUST have deleted it... unless i dreamt that you would post a video I never saw before, yet knew all the details and description of it beforehand... this is gonna haunt me... sounds all well and good, but I have never ventured to such sites, and can vividly remember a similar thread posted here this past week. oooh, City of God(the two brothers,Brazil?), Knocked Up and Taxi Driver, okay... The A's: two top movies!

Music, you say? Well seeing that I only like real hip hop/reggae and some rock I shall throw about some recommendations.
Albums... Mos Def - Black on Both Sides Jimi Hendrix - Anything, duh. Rage Against the Machine - Anything, imo. The Roots - Again, anything. I recommend Things Fall Apart to get you started, possibly Illadelph Halflife. Nas - Illmatic Peter Tosh - Basically anything. I have a few of his greatest hits albums and they're awesome. Bob Marley - Try to avoid Legend. While it's a good album, there's better Bob out there. Atmosphere - Overcast! and The Lucy Ford EP. Mos Def and Talib Kweli - BlackStar ...I have much more suggestions!
