Prince, the dog who lives with me.
My cousin makes his living building this type of furniture. This bent willow piece is a comfortable rocking chair. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...y/DSC_0264.jpg Now, time to check out your link. |
I'm very good at hiding things in plain sight, I notice. Good things, I hope.
I'm also very good (bad?) at forgetting recent statements and goal-oriented ponderances, (I'm done with words.) I've noticed. I really liked your statement about the butterfly net; I've got to figure out where to use it next, and in what context. I believe it fit well into this thoughtful reading I did yesterday... excerpt: Quote:

I recall talking with a wise old woman.
She also had similar sentiments, especially when dealing with the overwhelming feeling of helplessness that can occur, when we have at our fingertips, the entire world's woe & suffering. She helped me to understand that all any of us can change or influence, are the few people that surround our daily lives. One person at a time. Otherwise, the notion of attempting to fix or even comprehend the big picture, leaves one's energies scattered, ineffectual & prone towards depression. That shutting down action. |
Still speaking of life's journeys and thoughts... I found this webcomic I came across a while ago, already shared, but looking back upon, I think it to be really, really relatable towards, (in the fashion of laughing while stop/stuttering to ponder the meaning of it all) once digging into the sub-context of the inference of where it resoluted(sp?).
I think it is the best one I've shared (or seen) this past month. Quote:

I often wish for
the absence of X-boxes, knowing it futile. -funny comic, though. 2-(28/4)=-5 |
As my boys get older they seem to be drifting from x-box to econo-box to Ferrari Boxer. Somewhere in there I also got them boxing gloves.

an innocent statement is? It isn't just me... |
ahhh, the mammaries. When the boys were little I came home from work and on most nice days we'd all head down to the playground and hang around there playing for hours or maybe go for a hike. Now they'd rather hang around with their friends. But I still have the mammaries at home....thanks, dear.

I look at pictures,
pretending they can't touch me, wishing I was there. |
|
I came I saw, I rode on the slippery dip, and then I left....
Some clown fell down at the main gate. Highlite.... |
The looking glass held
what I couldn't comprehend, unrecognizing. |
If my looking glass could look, I'd be in trouble. Reflection is OK, though.
Not to garner all of your best birthday wishes, though there's nothing wrong with that either, but I'm adding that my first 61 years have not seemed like the longest ride...it sort of blew by so fast I can hardly believe it. I clearly remember being 3 years old and running after my father, crying, as he rode off on his bicycle going to work...I mean I was crying, though it wouldn't surprise me if he also had a tear. |
Is it your birthday?
If so have a happy one, onwards & upwards! |
yes. Thanks, bud. I feel about the same as last year, except a year better.

Searched for car cake.
http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...gy/carcake.jpg Do you like cake? Some of my relatives prefer apple dumplings served on their birthday. What trips your palate, birthday man? |

...sorry unc, gotta withdraw this one and transfer all my thanfulness to dear ring
ring, that's a beautiful cake! Thank you. But those apple dumplings, still warm inside, with some melty vanilla ice cream on top, starting to form a little moat of vanilla cream around each one....that's more my speed. Jet, thanks for such a personally gratifying birthday greeting. However, I doubt I can skip the soup since that's one of my favorites. |
Ah, so was it a coincidence that I posted something about the "birthday skeleton" just days before? I'm finally ahead of the curve!
(And I'm sure you meant ring, but the unc just slipped out, right?) |
All us old folk look alike?
Birthday Skelly doesn't worry about gaining weight. On a randomer note: I picked up a hitchhiker this afternoon. |
What did you steal from him (after you both parted ways, I'm assuming)? I think the common courtesy in Cuba, Somalia and Belarus is an exchange of fruits for the helping hand.
For BadNick: Natalia Vodianova Nude, for LOVE Magazine, Photography by Mert & Marcus (I think the title says it all. Addtionally, the last pic, too.) |
He thanked me sincerely, after I dropped him off at his house.
This big muscular dude with a shaved head and multiple tattoos, was crying. His girlfriend had kicked him out of her car, miles away from his home. |
ring,
thank you for your nice wishes and motorhead cake for me...sorry I misread the source. Jet, that Natalia girl is beautiful...eyes, luscious lips, sexy bushy eyebrows. But I would like to take her out to dinner and put a few pounds on her. She could use a bit more fullness in her body...my humble opinion. |
I think the Russian women are just naturally tall, blonde and svelte, as a generality.
I've been looking up her photo sessions for the past few hours just trying to find that ONE photograph I lost yesterday (monochrome photo, short dress, maybe with a bow pattern in front; looks like a schoolgirl), but I can't find it. Needless to say, I've seen her quite a bit, and she is curvy and bosomy when she wants to be (I think she started modeling as early as 2002, and still, still might be in her 20s. That amazes me.) Random thought: does anybody else in this world (or thread) admire Patrick Warburton as much as I? I hear his voice everywhere, and in a sense, he IS everywhere. He still looks the same, which is incredible in and of itself. |
Gotta be careful
with those generalities since they ease thinking. (Warburton:)) |

crocodile?!

What is it?
Inexplicable? Dangerous? Alligator girls? |
The Invisible Edge: May 2010
I discovered this from a link in one of Jetee's posts elsewhere. Can't remember which one. |
I don't remember what made me scrawl this either:
I don't like where this is going now; It's reminding me of another meth-head, wishing he hadn't left the carni. |
Party boyz?
|
No, not exactly;
just a random acquaintance, quite pitiable. & frankly no fun to talk to, but I found humor in his carni statement. |
Have any of you fine folk seen this HBO production?
'twas excellent. |
I've neglected to say 'Hello' in today's daily intrusion, so... here I go:
(Hopefully this works.) Hello. |
Satyr in the cards,
Obama giving a buck. What more could one ask? |
executive discount? It seems to me from the signage that the buck didn't quite cover the price of that peach. Spending less than it costs...is that reverse deficit spending?
|
Those alligators look friendly. Good thing I'm here on dry land... That clowns just looking at me now. He looks happy, though, so I'm cool with that...
Oh! Happy Birthday! sorry I missed it.... |
My arm fell asleep
last night while I myself was & will not wake up. |
thanks, Zook.
