2115 - 2153

Tom Brady is scaring the wasabi shiitake out of me.

I wish I could see the game in which a QB can throw 4 touchdowns in one quarter, and as of a minute ago, he upped his count to 6 passing strikes. I still believe Tenn. is scoreless.

The Patriots, it seems, play best when it is snowing; oh, and when they face the worst secondary in the league, bar none.

Let's go Tampa Bay! You are so much better than Tennessee. You can obtain you're first win before those chumpaloos.

I wonder what Earth and vicinity will be like in the year 19772? That will be the year we have our 17,800th year college reunion!

ring 10-19-2009 06:17 AM

He wrote those aha's very well.
I could almost hear them.

Tophat665 10-19-2009 06:32 AM

There are not many of them, all things considered: the truly old. Even on this planet, in this age, when people consider a mere hundred years or a thousand, to be an unusual span.

There are, for example, less than ten thousand humanoid individuals alive on this planet today who have personal memories of the saber-toothed tiger, the megatherium, the cave bear.

There are today less than a thousand who walked the streets of Atlantis.

There are less than five hundred living humans who remember the human civilizations that predated the great lizards.

There are roughly seventy people walking the earth, human to all appearances (and in a few cases, to all medical tests currently available), who were alive before the earth had begun to congeal from gas and dust.

How well do you know your neighbors? Your friends? Your lovers?

Why am I still stuck on 2100 some-odd replies when you say it's less than 500?

Oh, that's our current page? so, 40 * 5 = 200

I think we need 50 more pages to backhand that backward thread.

One of the guys in work today brought in a large pot of goose chili :( It tasted quite good. I had it with a pint of brussel sprouts I brought from home...quartered, steamed, fried lightly in olive oil until they start to carmelize a bit, salt & pepper. To complete the mysterious interconnectedness of our Universe, they were snow geese.

I like that saying.

Have I also remarked how enthralled I am by the series "Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Cincinnati Bengals"? It's truly a great show, and I'm glad I got sucked into this season instead of what had transpired last season with the exposure on the Cowboys.

Cowboys are no good. Well, neither are any of their division rivals (they all lost this past Sunday).

Another Gem.

I had TFP dreams last night.

There was a party at Willravel's parents' house.

It was so very real. You all were there. You, and you, and yes you, were all there.

A Dorothy moment.

BadNick 10-20-2009 08:53 AM
