How can I be so busy while I'm doing nothing? It's hectic flipping off the walls.
|
They keep me locked inside this tower for a reason.
The sounds bounce off the walls, red-rubber-echoes. |

In a significant "Longest" news update: Actually not an update since I don't think I ever posted about this here, I happen to be the happy owner of one of those "EcoSphere" sealed glass eggs that are almost filled with water and have a twig and a few pebbles inside, along with some little red shrimps. It looks just like this one: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...cosphere03.jpg My beloved and most generous sister-in-law and her hubby gave it to me as a present, I think it was over 8 years ago. As you may know, the ecosystem inside the sealed egg is somewhat self-sustaining since sunlight allows some algae growth and the shrimps eat the algae, and a happy cycle continues, sort of like the carrousel of life we're on. I'm under the impression that eventually the shrimps die off since I don't think they actually reproduce in there, and as most of us know, brine shrimp don't live forever :( However, to my surprise, the shrimps inside my egg have been alive for over 8 years now!!! (< well, at least I'm suprised about that). Reading on EcoSphere's website, apparently a properly balanced egg can have shrimps alive for about 10 years or so. To alleviate any curiosity you may have about my eco egg, I will post updates occasionally. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you. Yours truly, The Master of the Shrimp EcoSphere Universe ps: if someone finds a way to trace the EcoSphere serial number to a documented age, my has s/n 50153 |
I am... intrigued. I have around 980 ecosystems present within my body. I'll post the article again tomorrow. Slugs on my face move when I'm sleepin, can you say that?

When I think of the
multitudes inside of me I get excited. By the multitudes outside myself, more often, I am a bit scared. |
When one tiny fruit fly, flies into my eye,
it's a temporary minute trifle. The fruit fly is toast. Bye bye fly. |
It's still bloody raining! 16 days in a row!
|
wishing you a bit of dryness, Zook. Are you building an ark yet? How many cubits?

One for ringy in her padded tower, though: |
wow, those cars went BOOM!
Zook, since you're getting washed away, I assume the dust storms are somewhere else in Australia? |
Not to be taken as endorsing relations with sheep.

One of these days, I'm gonna click on ones of those videos and I'm gonna smile.
It's boggling that I'm too razy to do so even now, after 15+ pages since tophat joined the scrolls of history. |
19380!!! a non-palindrome!!!

You know what? i'm gonna stop listening to podcasts right now, stop looking at NFL standings and head-injury stories, and cook myself some pasta!
With sauce! Here's the story, BadNick: Effects of head trauma scaring Turley |

Hi there, a not so-new but new enough guy here. When I clickied on this thread, I was expecting greatness.
Yes greatness. At 25 posts per page, you aren't even past 1000 pages yet. Well, here's +1. |
Everybody's a bleeding critic.... Anyways it's not the "greatest" it is to be the "Longest".
Jetee, can you say L o n g e s t ? :) BadNick. Them thar duststorms would be on the East coast... I'm West of the East Coast... And by West coast standards, thats a little bitty storm.... . |
Seems to go with Dust storms

I am told that the one man band is an excellent foreplay for a long time.

Population: 7000 (of which 1000 are college students)
49.5% of the population are married couples living together. 19% of the population are 66 and older, and live alone. For every 100 females over the age of 18 there are 83.4 males. There are ten taverns, one bowling alley, a miniscule library, and a hundred and fifty two churches. There is a lovely dog park. There are five to fifteen people that hang out at the library frequently. They never make eye contact, and look at me dismissively, when I attempt to say hello. There is a lovely dog park. |
I've never seen you at the library. Maybe I'm going to the wrong library....
But, Ring, You come on over and say gidday to me... I'll talk to you! |
Hi Zooks.
I hope you and your loved ones are faring well. |
Palindromes are not all the're cracked up to be.
Being offered one bite of a sandwich is still sharing, I suppose. I'm starving. |
|
ring, after you're finished reading or researching, let's race around the library.
I used to chase Maria the only Italian girl in our school around the library...literally "chase", since she ran a lot faster than I could. But that was 49 years ago and I run faster now than I did then. |
You once knew a girl named Maria.
|
This is true. First girl I ever danced with.
|
Breezy today. The trees are dancing and bowing.
Their knees are too stiff to curtsy, though. |
Here it is beautiful clear blue skies, gentle cool early-Fall breeze...I do see the dancing trees with stiff knees....the day here is too nice to miss, so I'm not.
|
All the windows are wide open,
and there is a cricket singing somewhere beneath or behind the refrigerator. |
Bloody noisy lettle buggers, them Crickets
