Add cheese and ketchup and we're good to go. :D |
There is only one restaraunt around here that can serve a fluffy, pure yellow
omelette with no brown over-done spots on it. That's how I prefer them. My grandfather liked the brown crunchies on his eggs, grandma did not. |
I am the egg man...yesterday for lunch I had a couple of very lightly poached eggs on smoked salmon on black bread. I love very loose runny poached eggs. I have also been known to poke a small hole in each end of a raw egg, lick one hole so the salt I sprinkle on it sticks, then suck out the eggy contents.

My great aunt tried to teach me how to blow out eggs,
to decorate them for Easter. It hurt my ears too much, I couldn't do it. Years later, I came up with an idea for decorating eggs. Use Scotch tape and twist it as you wrap the egg. Dunk it in one color for awhile, take it out and pat it dry a bit, soaking up the extra dye that remains in the folds of the tape. Remove the tape, apply more tape in the same twisty fashion, and then put the egg into a different color. I had the best results using three different colors. It's almost like batik, that is how they look when they are finished. This egg is beautiful, I wonder how they did it. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...gy/pinkegg.jpg |
Today for dinner we had a delicious concoction with eggs, hominy, salsa, and cheese. Eggs are truly delightful.

I know that Ourcrazymodern? would really like to have 16666.
|
We'd better keep writing so OCM can have #16666.

I'm on it.
"It's a witch!" (a non sequitor to all but him.) |
how do you know it's a witch?
|
Takes one to know one.

OMG I just saw a purple people eater pass the window and not but ten min latter I saw a flying pig in a bright pink tutu with a Victorian wig on. What a great day.

Maybe one of these pigs grew up to fly... |
...they usually do. Just when you fall in love with their racey abilities, they fly away.
|
Well I don't think that one of them had a tutu and Victorian wig though....

|
that's him that's the pig i saw today out my window, you found him!
-----Added 8/2/2009 at 02 : 43 : 55----- not to be a Debbie Downer, but this is not the longest thread, World's King has the longest thread and we have a long way to go, so get creative....lets show him he's not king. |

Chapter five is going to be good.

The pain is now over, but agony is now going to be setting in soon.

Sleep is over-rated.

Sleep hath its own world, A boundary between the things misnamed Death and existence: Sleep hath its own world, And a wide realm of wild reality, And dreams in their development have breath, And tears and tortures, and the touch of joy. -Lord Byron

I've been searching for the longest strip of bacon in the known universe, and this might be it. A clever bacon-lover named Masta cut a whole slab into one continuous strip, as reported by World’s Longest Bacon? | Royal Bacon Society - The Ultimate Bacon Resource ...here's the slide show of it...I hope it works bacon
my edited summary: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...ood/bacon1.jpg http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...ood/bacon2.jpg http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...ood/bacon3.jpg http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...ood/bacon4.jpg http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...d/bacon5-1.jpg http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...ood/bacon6.jpg |
Twenty five posts today so far.
I feel rotten that I woke my beloved up fifteen minutes too early. People that work third shift, are brave tough souls. |
lets all eat some bacon in his name
/raisebacon |
He would like that.
Let us all send him enough energy to help him through this long night. |
90% fat, that bacon...
. |
I gotta agree with you there, Zook. But in any case, this is the "longest" thread not the "best" thread. If you start a thread for the best of everything/anything, I'll find ya the most meaty bacon in all the universes.
|
whats wrong with third shift? traffic is great at those hours!
|
Oo look my 2 mostest favouratest peeps are online wid me...
-----Added 9/2/2009 at 12 : 16 : 44----- . I loved the graveyard shift. No bosses to annoy ya.... |
i had a boss, but everybody was cool

Traffic. Optimistic thinking. Many people enjoy being home for dinner with their families. Then again, I suppose breakfast could be just as big of an ordeal.
