Today's sunrise was so beautiful,
you could see the brightly colored leaves through a thick foggy sunlit mist.
The fog cleared about a half hour later.

As our earth tilts this time of year, (where I live)
the angle of the sun throws increasingly longer shadows.

I remember a beautiful picture BadNick posted some time ago,
of the sun..a time lapsed image..where it rose and set,
just above the horizon. I am going back to look for it now.

went for a dive in Long Valley, then over the Short Hills, and up past a Fair Lawn. I did it all in a few short hours. What state am I in?

Time does appear to go by more quickly as we get older.

A great way to make time seem longer,

This is a good thing if you're working until 6 PM.

One way I think of how/why time seems to pass more rapidly as we get older:

When you are say 8 years old...one year is 12.5% of your life to that point, which is a very significant proportion so it seems like a "long" time to you.

When you are say 60 years old...one year is 1.7% of your life to that point, so it seems like a pretty short additional period.

Of course this assumes you are not travelling at the speed of light or holding a flashlight pointing into your eyes.
