It's going "to" present
-a careful, gentle whispering...
Madness I can handle.

"Oh please,
gentle me firmly,
'till I laugh or bite you."

Today we are experiencing autumn in California. The season came up suddenly. One day it was 95, the next it was 54.

Here is a view of California's autumn by artist Eva Szorc.
http://blueheronofnapa.com/sitebuild...mn-246x250.jpg

I stumbled upon the image through a Google search of "California Autumn". It seemed the most fitting of the images presented.

Beautiful paintings

Today I resemble my other brother Daryl,
he's a packing peanut too.

genuinegirly 10-12-2008 05:33 PM

You're certain that you're a packing peanut and not a packing cashew?

ring 10-13-2008 09:17 AM

I am the nuttiest boring eccentric you will ever meet.

Ourcrazymodern? 10-13-2008 09:19 AM

Thy fleeting
provides all the wind
that drives me.

ring 10-13-2008 09:20 AM

"I break wind in your general direction."

Ourcrazymodern? 10-13-2008 09:29 AM

you break wind
in all directions,
it don't smell.

ring 10-13-2008 09:31 AM

That is why I don't even bother to say," excuse me."

Ourcrazymodern? 10-13-2008 09:35 AM

As well you shouldn't:
"No harm, no foul", as some say.
I love your farting.

ring 10-13-2008 09:40 AM

It has many tones pitches...and even rhythm if I concentrate.

Ourcrazymodern? 10-13-2008 09:43 AM

But can you produce the scent of apricot parfait?

ring 10-13-2008 09:45 AM

I know your only asking, darling, your not tasking me.

XXXX OOOO

Ourcrazymodern? 10-13-2008 10:04 AM

Your answers,
if unforthcoming,
still please me.

ring 10-13-2008 10:07 AM

I need to kiss you all along your arm, Mortisha...you spoke French.

BadNick 10-13-2008 10:50 AM

this is our friend Tophat's post #19400 in the word association thread, which I find fun, but I want this thread to win the "longest" competition, so I'm not posting in that thread anymore ...so here's my reply:

They saw Mississippi.

BadNick 10-13-2008 11:18 AM

A New Jersey.

ottopilot 10-13-2008 11:26 AM

I haven't posted in Word Association for some time now,
mostly because I find the ABC one more fun to play.

Sorry to change the subject so radically,
but I am so pleased that I remembered the name of a childrens book I read many years ago.

Below The Root - by Zilpha Keatley Snyder

Our small library has a copy available and I am looking forward to reading it tonight.

Longest Wave On The Planet
Love to surf? Then you have to visit Brazil to surf the longest wave on the planet Earth called Pororoca. Between February and March Atlantic ocean tides generate waves up to 12 feet high which can last for over half an hour. Pororoca in indigenous Tupi language means \"great destructive noise\" and it destroys everything in its path with the speed of 10 to 15 miles (16 to 24 km) per hour.

" "Sister, I'm sure glad I didn't try your temper," Billy said, attempting to joke.
"Where's the good in you, Billy?" Sister Blandina asked. "I seemed to see it once. I wish I could see it now."
Billy just shook his head. He didn't expect to answer the question, and in a moment, Sister Blandina turned, tears on her cheeks, and left."

BadNick,
I need some trees like that in my life.

BadNick 10-15-2008 11:13 AM

will never reconsider
nor does it have to

ring 10-16-2008 01:13 PM

The trees are at full color here in wisconsin.

I wish I could spray them all with some sort of fixative,
to enjoy the Fall show a little longer.

I am fortunate to have a beautiful view of a small forest,
where I sit and paint and daydream....

I can daydream for the LONGEST whiles,
but i feel it is never a waste of time.
