Sorry, apparently it's snook,
I tasted it once, but it can't be caught for commercial use. Although this article says they start at 5 lbs, it's not uncommon for the real pros (some guys I used to work with) to catch them at around 40 lbs. Common Snook, Fish Identification

Ya know, and I didn't even notice the sea grape behind him. One of my favorite plants that's indigenous to the area.
I planted a couple in my front yard and I can't wait to try the actual fruit it bears.

Silly mexican!
I can, even so, love you, though you can't read it. Still, let me translate: This is where nonsense belongs, and I do my part!

Hopefully we will exert extra patience and effort to overcome this dark cloud now hovering above The Longest Thread, otherwise the fun will be drained and it will die. Why should we allow one lousy expression to do that? It's not like it's MOAB's personal thread...if it was I'd be inclined to just let it end.

I notice that there is a certain bit of tension in in the thread...
also, it seems I have been overtaken in number of posts. Also, I want to experience and cajole creativity.

lets just say: this used to be about total randomness and sometimes very interesting conversations but since a few months ago, it's become almost alllll poetry that is unreadable. it's not funny, not good just bleh... I tried bringing some fun to this place and honestly, sometimes people do! but with OCM not willing to change, i had to block his posts to once again enjoy this thread. because NO, it's not MY thread but i've contributed sooo much that I don't want to see it fail.
If i see ocm's posts as boring, then others who are lurking will probably skip this thread. Do you see my point?! anyways, have a good weekend everyone.

I haven't see it yet, either. Last night my older boy, 13yo, announced that he's buying the DVD asap. My boys have already seen it 7 times between the two of them and I wouldn't be surprised if they see it again with other friends who may not have seen it yet. I heard my younger one, just turned 12yo, ask his friend "what's the best movie you ever saw?" and first he said "The Godfather" but then he said "...well maybe now it's The Dark Knight". I'll see it soon for sure.
-----Added 3/8/2008 at 11 : 47 : 34----- One of the longest I've been on in quite a while, though not as long or hilly as Watkins Glen...Tuesday I'll be driving on this track in Millville NJ: Thunderbolt Raceway The Southern Road Circuit at New Jersey Motorsports Park will be our signature Thunderbolt Raceway featuring over 2.25 miles of asphalt, 14 challenging turns, a one half mile straightway and approximately 40 acres of full service paddock space. Amenities on this circuit will include concession buildings, event garages, twenty (20) VIP Suites, banquet rooms, a covered false grid, and a three (3) story timing tower with media center and VIP facilities. Just for good measure and to make this even longest..er, here's a map of Watkins Glen, my favorite so far: Last edited by BadNick; 08-03-2008 at 07:47 AM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

I am teaching myself French. I'd like to learn some more vocabulary, but practice with peers here might work wonders.

This is the kind the rent if you want to drive and don't have your own: This was another cool racecar parked near the kart track: My two boys and I took a day trip to Ocean City NJ today and on the way we stopped at New Jersey Motorsports Park. A Porsche club was running on the Lightning track and another mixed car group on Thunderbolt...place looks very nice, I'm looking forward to Tuesday. I never saw so many GT3 Porsches in one place: I'd like to pick up one of these as a track car...it's a D-sport Racer...from the note on the wing I'm thinking it must be the Socialist Sports Racers Club: |
