Ourcrazymodern? 07-09-2008 04:27 PM

Well, I had a thought, leading nowhere once again.
Damn me if you will.

(1÷4)x8=0+2

ring 07-09-2008 04:31 PM

I could never.

I need to be at mothers house for a spell.

PEACE and JOY!

Ourcrazymodern? 07-09-2008 05:24 PM

If I misread this
will further misreading
produce otherwise?

genuinegirly 07-09-2008 06:55 PM

One four eight zero five
One must remain alive

one four eight zero seven

This thread grows, we are the leaven.

Ourcrazymodern? 07-10-2008 05:33 AM

You show me the way,
and I shall surely follow.
I love you, you know.

Cooing, not billing:
It's not where the money's at,
but it's good clean fun.

BadNick 07-10-2008 06:36 AM

it was bound to happen again in this thread...poor old oh-nine was eaten by the one-four :(

ring 07-10-2008 08:11 AM

..but the more we post, the higher the numbers get,
so noone will ever go hungry.

BadNick 07-10-2008 09:40 AM

This thread might be the solution to global hunger and suffering.

...sorry if this belongs in the "Truth" thread.

Jetée 07-10-2008 09:42 AM

This thread has recurring fads.

And conversations are still present, no?

I wish to revive both if possible.

ring 07-10-2008 10:06 AM

Let us all pretend we are savoring a delicious meal together,
which facilitates our conversation.

Shall we start with beverages and a bread basket?

Jetée 07-10-2008 10:12 AM

Oh, I hit refresh. :(

I'll try again and order some mate.

I like bread too much to choose, what would you have us feast upon?

ring 07-10-2008 10:25 AM

Mate sounds tasty. Does it have a nutty flavor?

I shall serve us some fresh out of the oven home-made,
braided egg-twist bread. (in real life I did use to make this)

I also love a good crusty chewy French bread.

I will have some dry white wine.

Have you read any good books lately?

Jetée 07-10-2008 10:34 AM

I'm still trying to conquest my six-month venture to complete Moby-Dick.

ring 07-10-2008 10:37 AM

I'm re-reading a John Le Carre spy novel.

I think I read Moby-Dick years ago,
my memory has some holes in it.

Jetée 07-10-2008 10:52 AM

Last dream you recollect?

This is the new topic for discussion that I try every once in a while.

Please feed it.

My evanescent adventures will take some time and perhaps a nap to recoup.

ring 07-10-2008 01:24 PM

I had one of my more lucid epic dreams last night, involving
construction work on a roof with some friends here at TFP.

I was the new person at the jobsite. I rember enjoying the warm, gritty,
physical labor.

Ourcrazymodern? 07-10-2008 02:24 PM

So if I didn't,
let's lay down in a sandwich
and get some dirty.

(OK, don't kick me.)

ring 07-10-2008 02:28 PM

Big or small,
canine or feline,
I love all.

(You good good good bad dog.)

Ourcrazymodern? 07-10-2008 02:45 PM

So we may still play, continuing this building,
as seems what we wont?

(If Sharon still helped,
I would be very afraid,
transmogrifying.)

(1x4)-8=-(2x2)

ring 07-10-2008 02:48 PM

I bet she would love the wind and the lightning show outside my window at the moment.

I wish you all could see it.

The trees are rockin'

The sky is full of blinding flashes.

The thunder I can feel in my spine.

Ourcrazymodern? 07-10-2008 03:00 PM

"...spine, my orange crush"
If I lived in the real world, this "problem"'s not mine.

14-8-2=4

ring 07-10-2008 03:03 PM

Yes, I used that word on purpose.

Ourcrazymodern? 07-11-2008 06:23 AM

1x4+8÷2=6.

Let's kiss and make up.
You know how much I need you.
...I don't even know.

World Record for the Longest Kiss

The Rules (somebody dumb made up these rules but us TFP'ers don't need no stinkin' rules so I added some italisized notes)
The kiss must be continuous and the lips must be touching at all times.
If the lips part - the couple are immediately disqualified. (I think the make&break sends a tickle up my spine)
Contestants must be over the age of consent in the country the event is being held.
The couple must be awake at all times. (locked lips during sleep are so nice)
The contestants must stand during the attempt and cannot be propped together by any aids, such as pillows, cushions or people.(any position is OK with me)
No rest breaks are allowed. (we don't need no stinkin' rest)
Incontinance pads or adult nappies/diapers are not allowed. (sexy?)
Couples must not leave the venue during their attempt.
The Records
29:00 hrs Mark and Roberta Griswold (USA) 199830:45 hrs Dror Orpaz and Carmit Tsubara (Israel) 199930:59 hrs Rich Langley and Louisa Almedovar (USA) 200131:18:33 St. Andrea Sarti und Anna Chen (Italy) 2004 (not yet confirmed)
Other marathon kissing were achieved with other rules that do not compare with the official rules. The most extreme kissing marathon competition was one in Brazil lasting 62 days 8 hours 15 minutes with a "kissing time" of 833:45 hours.

In 1999 it was reported that Neli van der Hoeven (Netherlands) and Wanderley Coasta e Silva (Spain) kissed for 34:11 hrs, but this record was not verified.

Ourcrazymodern? and ring: new record pending

Ourcrazymodern? 07-11-2008 07:35 AM

I kiss you.
(We stay awake less long.)

While still believing
in the future that we'll share,
I must digress:

The future we share
digresses apace, and so?
We will still share it.

Damn it, god!
Thankyou, god!

Esoteric 07-11-2008 07:40 AM

ottopilot 07-11-2008 12:32 PM

Do repeated kisses in the same spot leave painful lesions or chaffing?

BadNick 07-11-2008 12:45 PM

Don't worry. If that does happen you can just kiss the boo boo and make it better.

The Long Thread
The Threadgles
Written by Lon G. Threadley

I used to hurry a lot, I used to worry a lot,
I used to post until the break of the day.
Oh that didn't get it, it was high time, I quit it --
I just couldn't carry on that way.
Oh, I did some damage, I know it's true --
Didn't know I was so lonely till I found you.

Who can go the distance?
We'll find out on the long thread.
(On the long thread.)
We can handle some resistance
If our posts are some strong ones.
(Are some strong ones )

People talkin' about us, they got nothin' else to do.
When it all comes down we will still come through
On the long thread.
Ooh I want to tell you it's a long thread.

You know I don't understand why you don't treat yourself better,
Do the crazy things that you do.
When all the debutantes in Houston, baby,
Couldn't hold a candle to you.
Did you do it for love, did you do it for money?
Did you do it for spite, did you think you had to, honey?

Who is gonna make it?
We'll find out on the long thread.
(On the long thread )
I know we can take it
If our post is a strong one.
(Is a strong one )

Well we're tired, but we’re still typin',
While on the “John”, cause we ain't wipin'
On the long thread.
Ooh I want to tell you it's a long thread.

Non-sequitor would be a good name for an alcoholic beverage.

I wonder what we should put in it.

Make it a double please.
