not much to say before hitting the sack...good night to all, see you tomorrow. Well not really "see you" in the literal sense but it is sort of a virtual see you here.

yellowmac 06-16-2008 08:31 PM

so is there a goal for the number of posts this thread wishes to achieve?

ottopilot 06-16-2008 09:09 PM

Send farmers, nuns and bunnies ...
The shit has hit the fan.

jewels 06-17-2008 02:45 AM

Howdy, amigos!

ring 06-17-2008 04:44 AM

meet 'Little Big Dog.'

My sister shipped her from New Delhi a few weeks ago;
her sister, Dusra is being adopted by a family in Chicago.

she is settling in well. Little Big Dog (Libby) and my dog Prince have become good buds already.

We are striving for infinity...we're almost half way there!

ring,
your cute little dog from New Delhi made me hungry for a pastrami on rye...so I'm going to Ben & Irv's Deli for lunch, thank you. Fresh still warm rye bread, pastrami not too lean, a glop of chopped chicken liver w/smaltz, a little spicy mustard, heaven.

jewels 06-17-2008 06:27 AM

Howdy amigo and amigas and peros and gatos :D

Ourcrazymodern? 06-17-2008 06:46 AM

ring 06-17-2008 12:37 PM

You slay me, sir mister.

Ourcrazymodern? 06-17-2008 12:55 PM

Perhaps, with purpose.
My delight is to elate;
I believe I can.

BadNick 06-17-2008 02:15 PM

Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely
Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely
Each year you bring to me delight, meaning in the christmas night
Oh Christmas tree, oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely

...all this lovely-ness and hot weather made me yearn for a snowy Christmas season...even though I also love Summer.

Oh Christmas trees, oh Christmas trees, exact revenge on the humans.
We'll chop their feet and decorate, then leave them dying by the road-side on trash day... falla lalla la ...

Maybe you'll do that,
or you might justly conclude
you're superior.

ring 06-18-2008 07:37 AM

Takes one to know one?

BadNick 06-18-2008 09:47 AM

Not sure if it's the longest, but a long and winding road nonetheless

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...north-ramp.jpg

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...e20bike20t.jpg

The Stelvio Pass is one of the highest Alpine Passes of Europe with its 2758 m. There are 48 hairpin turns on the northern side of the pass. The original road was built in 1820-1825 by the Austrian Empire to connect the former Austrian province of Lombardia with the rest of Austria, covering a climb of 1871 m. Since then, the route has changed very little. The 60 hairpin bends, 48 of them on the northern side numbered with stones, are a challenge to motorists.

ring 06-18-2008 03:32 PM

What car would you dream of having, to quickly and
safely navigate those turns with?

MexicanOnABike 06-18-2008 03:35 PM

for sure!

ring 06-18-2008 04:02 PM

maybe

MexicanOnABike 06-18-2008 06:10 PM

I changed my mind. not anymore!

BadNick 06-18-2008 06:46 PM

I'm sure...I'd like to do it in my car since I know it so well and it is very capable...though I would also like to do it in many other cars eg. Porsche GT3, Ferrari 430 Scuderia, just to name two likely suspects. And when I say "do it..." none of these cars have back seats!

SSJTWIZTA 06-18-2008 08:29 PM

i think they tackled that road on top gear with a light weight lambo, a light weight porsche, and i believe the last car was an austin martin.

MexicanOnABike 06-18-2008 09:05 PM

ha!

MexicanOnABike 06-19-2008 05:51 AM

HAHA!

ring 06-19-2008 05:57 AM

There has been a rise in jocularities popularity.

BadNick 06-19-2008 05:58 AM

HAHAHAHAHA!

btw, it's "Aston Martin" ...the Austin was another vehicle not related to "Martin". Though there have been Austin's that would work well on that road.

MexicanOnABike 06-19-2008 06:01 AM

HAHAHA!

BadNick 06-19-2008 06:07 AM

AH!
