While I have known women who enjoy a good widget making session, I think there is something in the genetic make-up of men that attracts us more intensely to widget making. And I don't mean "cosmetics" when I say make-up, though I have been known to wear eyeshadow and lashes on special occasions.

Since we see miniaturization taking over the industry, we are getting more and more inquires about micro-machines. So our crack team of midget widget micro-machine makers is always searching for a better way

I would say I've never worn false eyelashes, though I have used lash extender. But my opinion on this hardly counts since I don't have to wear that stuff every day or for more than a few hours. My usual occasion for wearing make-up and various other women's clothes was to make sure I won our annual Miss America Contest ...my extended group of friends would have a large very fun annual bash on the day of the contest and with all due modesty and humility I have to say that I won all those Miss America contests. OK, my best friend Pete came in a close second, but I was really the best miss america around here.

You know what's funny, the thing that bothered most people about me doing that was that they said I looked like I was enjoying it too much. Goes back to my demented childhood, when my parents went shopping I used to wear my mom's full length mink coat ...inside out while I was nude, since it felt so warm and fuzzy. I guess I've always been into costumes ...feathers were my specialty. There used to be the South African Feather Company on the 4th floor (I think it was 4) of 401N Broad St. in Philly, they supplied all the feathers for the annual Mummer's New Years parade. I went there and just bought some of every kind of feather they had and used those feathers for many costumes.

I think they must be out celebrating Leap Year Day.

Here's some creatures ...notice that as each creature piles on they get smaller and smaller and after the fourth creature they are too small for practical purposes and it starts over (though a hamster would not agree with that). That's the same concept as leap year.

What a lucky tree to be covered with such a nice cool moist blanket. Today it will be clear and about 58F around here. Tomorrow it's still clear and going over 60F. This week, prolly Wed, I'm taking my mom to the Philadelphia Flower Show ...a very floral experience. I'll take pics and I plan to buy a few things to grow.
