It's damn hard to talk to people
in this flat world of space. I wish to hear voices, inflections, and to see the expressions on faces. This whole business of communicating on line is so new to me. WHOA Silent Running with Huey, Louie, and Dewy! I haven't seen that for ages. The ending made me sad as a kid since how that robot's power supply wouldn't be indefinite. I was such a little scifi nerd as a child. Shame on me for that Dune reference though.

I googled 'Ringworld' art from Larry Niven's book 'Ring world.'
The avatar is computer generated and it should not take me long to back track and give credit to the artist who made it. I tried to use various other images of the cat eye nebula and such but much was lost in the compression factor. |

about his constructures. Such a gracious man... So my darlings....how do we even broach Tiptree? Oh shit...did Tiptree write that short story about...being in deep space and the virus talked to him,well knowing that it was going to do... whatever ..... and eventually kill him..yet had a loving connection with him as well? I do believe that is why she is feeling better,
she gave those little invaders a good talking to and she is making herself better for sure. I am going to the humane society today or tommorow, I might have a new friend soon. Edit....going now to pick up the little miracle doggie... I've puppie proofed the house...boy am I ever ecstatically ecstatic. I am a little happy huh?....I now infect all of you with my glorious happiness... you can't help yourself...you are smiling and rejoicing with me.
