Fuck. Octopi are one of my few fears. This just added fuel to the fire.

The scary part of the octopus is not just the suckered tentacles... it's the horny beak they have under all that floppy flesh...

No contest! The shark didn't have a damned chance. Plus, whats the point of attacking the shark anyways? It's not like its gonna eat it...right?

Comon guys, don't be adding fuel to my damn nightmares...

Oh but it did eat it... didn't you listen to the soundtrack? Some of their sharks were missing (i.e. eaten).

of course it ate the sharks.
along with the dolphin, the octopus are the most intelligent creatures down there. and they are certainly the craftiest invertabrates around. i've seen surveillance footage of one break out of its tank, slither across a hall to another tank and actually twist open a closed jar full of food. freaks.
no wonder the japanese like to eat them alive and kicking here. straight out of the water. don't even stop to kill them first. delicious.

I thought this one is obvious, how could an octopus have anything on a shark.
