Anyone else heading out to the cricket in the next couple of weeks?

3 One Dayers in Melbourne starting tomorrow, followed by a six day test in Sydney. I have a work sponsored day at the first day of the super test. Aaah - someone else buying my ticket for a day basking in the sun, drinking beer and watching a bit of leather on willow. I just hope Australia bats first...

well, actually myself and 2 other developers work from home for a company in a foreign land

one of them is (nominally) my boss. The three of us were going to the cricket but one guy is getting new curtains put up, so has to stay at home

chances of employment with us in next two weeks? Sorry to say but it's pretty close to zero.

i might go down to the 6 day test match in sydney on a weekend and chill out.

Yeah, was a huge let down. There is no way Australia should have one if the World XI was firing.

Another one today, i would say the officials have a problem with the surface at telstra dome, for it to affect the footy was bad enough, but the cricket? Spose thats what happens when you try to grow that sort of grass inside!!!!(opposed to the yummy sort)

they said on the radio that some of the Aussies were wearing footy boots when fielding in the last game - that says something about the surface...
