The kids in "That Seventies Show" did it. Now it's our turn. Whenever you smoke a peace pipe and have one of those conversations or thoughts that you wouldn't have if you didn't, post one (or more) here. The more rediculous, crazy, unorthodox, or even genius, the better. I'll start it off.

My friend had an idea that I would call "interesting." I wouldn't say I agree with it because it's a bit chauvenistic (sp?), but it is definitely interesting. He says he knows a way to give men a better chance at getting women, AND it can help the economy overall. He says ALL men should completely stop buying porn. In doing so, it would kill the porn industry, destroying many jobs for a large percentage of women. Those women would then either have to find another good paying job, or find a love-companion that can aid financially. Also, all the money that men spend on porn would still be in our pockets so we have more money to spend on what we really need (hence it bettering our economy).

Uhmm...interesting....... :hmm: Although, I love and need my porn! I'm sorry I can't stop buying porn.

Yeah but think about it; If men had a larger chance at getting women, we wouldn't need porn! :p

So by causing a large number number of well paid women to become unemployed, and shutting down a billion+ dollar a year industry, this is going to help our economy?

I'm not sure that the number of women in the porn industry is so high that if they stopped doing porn if would make a big enough difference for the general population to notice. Im not sure I make sense right now. As a matter of fact I don't even watch porn so I dont fucking know shit. :hmm:

Sounds like what we have around here lately. All my hookups for kb have dried up or have "purple haze"which is just regular kb they sell for $30 a gram. With any luck I will be smoking for free in a coulpe of months.

Yeah man, its fucking ludicris. It's really good pot, don't get me wrong, but no pot is worth that kind of money. And people pay it too! Moneys been tight anyway, I just can't do it. If the frosts are kind to me, I should be able to smoke for free for most of next year. If I'm ever in your neck of the woods, I'll hit you up for sure.

Ok, I see how putting the money we would normally spend on porn in our pockets would help us financially, but that doesn't better the economy. If you go and spend more money on porn and therefore increase the GNP of this country, that helps the economy.
