Shithouse Winter
 

I dont know about you guys but this winter hasnt really been that cold. Usually, up here in the mountains, when you go outside to take a piss you have to snap it off its that cold. And it hasnt rained properly in ages. Maybe global warming is a reality.

11-13 degrees most days.

it's had cold snaps, but it's been quite warm over the last 3 days, and sunny.

Only been a couple of mornings this year that my windscreen has iced up.

i'd positively kill for a nice standard aussie winters day.

today it was *stinking* hot and humid in tokyo.
yesterday was a typhoon... so it was cold, really windy and seriously rainy.
and on saturday we had a grade 5 (richter scale, not j-scale) earthquake (epicentre was 6 in chiba - biggest in the area for 17 years), which scared me shitless since it bounced up and down a few times before it settled and shifted horizontally.

Farking hell bundy. Tokyo must be intense compared to Sydney. Hope you bring some Ninja skills back with you.

Been mild here to I guess. A few frosts but nothing to write home about. It's not global warming, because 'global warming' is a crock of shit, it's just the Earth's cycle.

Winter in BrisVegas....sunny days warm enough to get around in jeans, a t-shirt and slides. Cool, fresh mornings perfect for spooning.....

Way to cold up here in townsville.. I've had to throw a rug on my bed at nights!! And wear a damn jumper in the morning, strangest thing is that it's supposed to be the dry season up here and we're getting rain O_o Go figure...

The weather system has changed over the pacific ocean this year, so that could expalin the rain :)

all i can say is its friggin cold in canberra, if you put the old fella for a piss it would freeze pretty damn quickly. bring on summer so I can whinge about the heat and how much im looking foward to winter

It hasnt been cold in Melbourne yet this year but I'm used to Ballarat winters so Melbourne never seems cold.

Its definately been warmer than normal, check out the snow (or lack of). I've been waiting for a big dump before going snow camping but it doesn't look too promising atm.

It's not cold enough down here in Tassie, compared to last winter we have had comparitively warm days.
We don't even have snow yet on the ski fields and I doubt we'll even get a snow season down here this year, it's even been raining at the mainland resorts in the past week. All i can say is that it is a good thing i'm off to NZ for two weeks in September to catch some snow as there's not going to be any around here!

Bloody weather wont warm up... here's a picture of my front lawn two days ago after a hailstorm. In the grip of a 3 year drought and I walk outside and it looks like it's been fucking snowing!
