I tried to ford the river and my oxen died. Help me!

Mot only am I stuck in the river with a wagon, four whiny people, and two dead oxen, I only have three bullets left and I have to hunt buffalo because I can't eat the oxen. Come on, they drowned, it's not like the have rabies or anything. If I don't get out of this river soon someon'e going to die of dysentery.

Anyone else in a similar predicament?

Use one of the three bullets on one of the four whiney people. It will shut the other three up.

I would, but they've all overheard the plan and are standing right between up and up/right between two trees where I can't get them. It'll be at least 5 or 6 years before we get an update and can shoot in all directions, and I have to finish the trip before it starts snowing.

edit: fuck, anyone know how to cure dysentery?

I *wish* I knew what the crap this thread was on about. Is it anything like being on one side of the river with the fox, while the chicken eats all your grain on the other side?

Well, first things first to land as much of your gear on the want-a-be side of the river and move upstream a bit. You need fresh water to avoid dysentary, and you can't stay in the river or you'll drown or something. Leave 2 of the whiney people, make the third one pull a travois made from your wreaked wagon, and go git yoreself a buffalow.

I made it! Only killed one child (eaten by neighbors), caught my wagon on fire twice, dumped everyone in the river twice, broke axles and was robbed four or five times. But I made it! Whoo hoo! Strangely satisfied with myself. I haven't won in years.
