Quote game
Did a search and couldn't find one of these. Isn't boredom grand?
the game is thus: I'll start things off by posting a quote you have to guess what its from and who said it. Afterwards you may post a quote and the game goes on. To make it interesting, every quote you get right earns you a point and by the end of the week whoever has the most points wins. There may be a prize if I can think of one. so we start with what may be an easy one "Let us sit upon the ground and tell sad stories about the death of kings" One more thing: the quote can be from anywhere just so long as its from a source that can be concievably found; no words of drunken wisdom from uncle dave. |
Shakespeare
hrm.. good quote...easy one... "I'm 98% percent sure this miniature organic meatbag wants you to help find his fellow miniature organic meatbags" :) |
Kotor.
Keeping tradition, an easy one. Might as well before the dusty books come off the shelves. "I used to fall unconscious for hours at a time. Now with Equinox, I never need to sleep." |
It's from one of the GTA games. (Two. I think.)
"You shall see things, wonderful to tell. You shall see a... a cow... on the roof of a cotton house. And, oh, so many startlements." |
A cow on the roof of a cotton house has to be from 'O brother where art thou".
Keeping it easy: "Come with me if you want to live" |
Terminator 2: Judgement Day
"Can you make it so that when I get home, I feel like I've been out fishing all day?" |
Maybe I couldn't jump back in so quick, but Office Space is one of the first movies I owned.
From another, somewhat less funny movie, but at one point (not unlike Office Space) I thought every line of dialouge was a quoteable: "What do you want? Wanna go back to the shit job, fuckin' condo world, watching sitcoms? Fuck you, I won't do it." |
