man... i can't imagine why a yale graduate continues to say nuke-u-ler. even if he didn't know it was the right way to say it... there have been hundreds of instances when his advisors could have corrected him.

i think, at this point, it must be intentional. you wouldn't think that would be so, but i can't think of a more probable reason for it. baffling...

My vote is for intentional. Like his father did with Saddam making it sound more like Sodom than it should.

If you can't win the small battles, how can you win the big ones? Nuclear is not difficult to pronounce, so I'd like to think he does it intentionally. I say Dick Cheny should make him pronounce nuclear correctly, or he can't have dessert after dinner. "Old Mr. Cheny is mean! I'm goin to play nintendo!"

There are words that I intentionally mispronounce also, but hey, I'm not the president. ;)

Actually, I heard a theory on NPR that most of the folks who deal with Nuclear Weapons call the Nukyoular in public fora because that is somehow less threatening. I don't know, I still think Bush is a jackass, but this is the least of his symptoms.
