!Summertime!

How good is it!

Finally conned my mate into getting the Malabu out today for the first time this summer! Sure, first wake I hit resulted in me eating 2 litres of Murray river and near snapping my board, but heck, after winter it's all good.

Dunno about in the city, but out here in the sticks the smell is here, the skirts are getting shorter, the girls browner, and the beer sweeter. Bring it on!

coash 10-17-2004 05:01 AM

yeah the chicks at UNSW are starting to wear more and more skimpy clothes

Meridae'n 10-17-2004 05:28 AM

Ahhh Randwick, will you ever not be full of stunna's?

slimshaydee 10-17-2004 05:56 AM

yeah loving uni right now, each lecture is a total perv

TIO 10-17-2004 11:17 AM

Still a week and a half 'till I'm finished with my thesis. These days, the sunnier it is, the grumpier I get about the fact that I have to stay locked up in my room writing.
But come next Thursday...OHHHH BOY.

Latch 10-17-2004 02:50 PM

Yeah... starting to get nice here too.. and I work at the campus that's full of nurses. Gotta love it.

spindles 10-18-2004 06:35 PM

dunno - been f'ing cold here the last 3 days.

mrfrontmount 10-18-2004 08:47 PM

more hot days means less chicks wear bras. less chicks wearing bras means more high beams.

Mr_Wall 10-18-2004 08:53 PM

Yeah you guys jinxed us...

Latch 10-18-2004 11:06 PM

nice today.. and supposed to be nice the next few days.

Perfect weather for sitting outside and having a beer. In fact....

I cannot question that logic.

Hope this weather holds on for the weekend, got an outside wedding in Wagga on Saturday...

slimshaydee 10-18-2004 11:24 PM

I'm hoping this weather can wait until after I finish exams. I hate being indoors.

doc 10-19-2004 02:52 AM

MMMmmmmm, summer, nurses starting to wear less, (drools!)

Ella 10-19-2004 03:01 AM

Why am I looking forward to summer? I am having two and a half months off work (mid Nov-end Jan) off work and moving to Brisvegas. Life is good.

almostaugust 10-19-2004 03:17 AM

It was summer last week. Its freezing in nsw at the moment.

molloby 10-19-2004 04:18 AM

That it is, uni was freezing this morning- espescially comapred with last week.

Still, I guess Warragamba is getting filled.

Meridae'n 10-19-2004 11:31 AM

Must be cold at 11am...

Latch 10-19-2004 02:07 PM

ahahahahaha. Good call, Meri.

Guess again - last two days 65 mills at my place - 4 mills at Warragamba :(

Meridae'n 10-20-2004 01:09 AM

Er, it's not the rain at the actual dam that fills it...

molloby 10-20-2004 02:38 AM

Well I heard on the radio that its catchment was getting rained on.

Or possibly mis-heard, I'm never fully awake at 6:30 am anyway.

*shrugs amicably*

Ahhh ella, summer weather basically started here weeks and weeks ago. :D

Ella 10-21-2004 01:25 AM

Well true, aside from all the rain this week. Which is a good thing, really.

Meridae'n 10-21-2004 01:52 AM

Rain is your summer weather isn't it?

whiteox 10-21-2004 02:30 AM

Ahhhhhhhhh Cairns....Beautifull one day, Perfect the next.

Its a stinker today. 36 degrees in Brissy.

Meridae'n 10-23-2004 07:40 PM

Bloody rain in Albury. Perfect hangover weather though...

Latch 10-24-2004 12:12 AM

16 here today.. summer was here for a while.. but it's gone away again.. and chicks are wearing a bit more clothes ;(

I can't say much about today as it was a hangover day for me too.. the blinds were down and I spent most the day sleeping hehe.

spindles 10-25-2004 12:29 AM

bloody nice day in sydney - quite a lot to look outside

Stick 10-25-2004 04:40 AM

Summer is good because of the yummy peaches, apricots, plums etc.
Summer is bad because it's too bloody hot.
Summer is good because of the scantily clad beauties running around.
Summer is bad because I can't have all those beauties for myself! Damn!

11-13-2004 03:38 AM

Perfect today, god knows tomorrow.

arf 11-15-2004 05:05 AM

The Shire mate, everyday is beautiful even when it’s not. As for beautiful ladies scantily clad you can’t walk around in Cronulla without tripping over one, especially in the summer.

Meridae'n 11-18-2004 12:50 AM

I picked up a Shire chick on New Years last year... wasn't too shabby either. She had some damn fine mates too,

Janey 12-06-2004 12:38 PM

Summer time for you ! Greatings from Canada,

just to let you know how lucky you are: this morning i had to brush off 2 inches of snow from my car before going to work. this being the first dumping of the season in Toronto, nobody knows how to drive. the result: 45 minutes to drive the 10 km from my house to work. Ahhh, only 4 more months of this....

Ella 12-06-2004 01:16 PM

But hey....you get a white xmas! We get an xmas day of around 40 degrees, which makes it too hot to cook any type of roast meal in the middle of the day 'cos it's too hot. So many of us have an outside BBQ for lunch, or an xmas dinner instead of lunch.

Summer in Brisbane has seen rain for the past two days...least it's not cold.

Janey 12-06-2004 02:37 PM

wow. that's hard to comprehend. It was rainy and windy on saturday, about 1.5 degrees, and i was putting up christmas lights.. fun

Janey 12-07-2004 08:35 AM

Ok, I've had enough. Bring back summer. This morning I had to chip off 5 mm coating of ice from my car. Freezing rain fell all night, and is still comming down. It is very foggy, so it is a freezing fog really (hoar frost?). Driving is about 20km/hr.

Latch 12-07-2004 09:06 AM

I'm in Wisconsin at the moment.. and damn.. it's like umm around 10C and raining.. and it looks to be that way for at least the next week. I came here to see snow goddammit.. well, hopefully it'll snow before Christmas...

of course, I have many childhood memories of having a dead-grass brown christmas (as opposed to a white one)

spindles 12-07-2004 05:28 PM

Mmmm - a nice 25C today with a chance of a late thunderstorm. Perfect day - wish I was sitting in my avatar :)
