Australia v India - Cricket
Watching the late news last night reinforced one of the reasons why I love being Australian. Clark scored 151 on debut, Gilchrist scored 104 off 109 and the upper order pulled their weight. Then we come out and clean up the Indian top end for 150.
OMG.. HOW MUCH DO WE ROCK!! and.. India require another 124 with 4 wickets in hand to avoid the follow on.. |

I seem to recall last time we enforced the follow on in India, they score a kazillion in their second innings and we got rolled. I suggest batting a second time when we get the chance...

Spindles: yea.. they did well.. and they look like they are holding on.. so I would imagine that we will bat again and give clarke a chance to make another ton.
slimshaydee: if clarke does well in the second innings, hopefully they'll drop martyn Currently India are 7/199 |

Harbijan Singh is a poo in a turban, nothing more.
Marto wont get dropped, but if Boof goes out and posts two sub-20 scores next test and Clarke gets at least a 50, I reckon he'll retire to let Clarke stay. Boof is not the type of bloke to stay and stop the blooding of a genuine young talent. I hate to say this as I love Boof, and he's the last person you want to lose on a tour full of turning decks, but I reckon his future is in Clarke's hands, and it'll be the man himself that decides when's when.
