Beer ... what's your brew?
From coast to coast I beleive that Canada has some of the finest brew around. What's your brand? Do you remember the day it went from the icky tasting drink you drank to be cool to the refreshing taste sensation that it is?
Some of my personal favs are: Molson Canadian (when I want to drink a bunch) Keiths (Love the taste, find it a little heavy to drink all night) Moosehead (First beer I ordered under age in a bar, it was "My beer" for a long time.

Not being Nove Scotian and never being there, I don't know why my beer of choice is Alexander Keith's. But it is.

The Granville Island Maple Lager is unbelievable (it's new.). But my favourite brews are the Wild Rose brews. I'm partial to the Brown, but they brew the house beer at The Kilkenny pub in Calgary called 'Double Arrow' and it's excellent too.
As for Quebequois beers, the Blanche de Chamblis is the best of the Unibroue bunch, followed closely by Trois Pistoles. Canadian microbrews are brilliant.

Being from Montreal, I naturally favor Quebec microbreweries, such as Unibroue.
1) Blanche de Chamblis 2) Trois Pistoles 3) La Maudite 4) La Fin du Monde

I'll drink anything and im not joking. But if I'm buying I used to go for molsons but now that they've merged with coors ill never drink it again (filthy fucking traders). ya bill buy keiths or moosehead (both great). Nothing beats finding some one who brews there own guiness, I found this guy whos been brewing his own "guiness" for like 30years and man that stuff is almost better then what youd get in ireland.

We can get Big Rock (well, Trad, Warthog, Grasshopper and a couple others) at some specialty stores, but this gem of the west is largely unknown (and would otherwise be unappreciated) in the land o'Keiths. :P |

Whatever is in the fridge. Seriously I like to support a local brewery called Troegs in Harrisburg, PA and buy that whenever I can.
