My mother isn't sure if this is a gypsy trinket or a pre-columbian carving of a mayan king. Does anyone have any idea how old, valuable or worthless this is?

Any help is appreciated.

well i wouldn't want it, so it'd be tossed out as trash at my house...

if it's of any value to someone else, i've got no idea about that...

i hope your mom is sitting on a little gold mind there though.
