yeah, i know it will... but i mentioned it in another thread, and someone, forgot who, but they clearly weren't aussie, just didn't get it. sad, but true.

i think this whole jana pitman knee thing is very dubious... it might just be my cynical mind, but i reckon shes either pulled this stunt off so as to have an excuse for having interesting drugs in her system, or so that she has an easy way out of all that big noting herself that she's done over that last year. i can't remember a more full of it aussie athlete.

and as for those tossers who ride bikes for Australia... especially that twat eadie... i reckon they're ALL drugged up to the eyeballs, and should be kicked out. that ridiculous facial growth on eadie should be violently removed, i mean, he's (unfortunately) representing Australia, and that shit on his face makes the rest of us look bad.

I must disagree there Bundy, open the door for all drugs I say. At the moment the most cutting-edge drugs are only used by the wealthiest countries *ahem*AMERICA*ahem* so I reckon we should go back to the 70's and early 80's where every cunt just used what they wanted. The amount of money you have wouldn't come into it as the best drugs, steroids and HGH, are cheap as chips so who gets the medals wouldn't come down to who had the best pharmacist. I want to see female swimmers with cannonball delts, divers with barndoor backs, and cunts throwing javalins 12 kms.

i actually agree with you Meri.
while theres a charade of 'clean' athletes, its only going to piss people off... because there's always going to be arguments.
if they just let go and open the door for drugs and genetic enhancement it'll be far more interesting.
there'd be more money in it for athletes, because they'd be getting sponsorship from Nike/Reebok AND pharmaceutical companies.
it'd even out competition to a certain extent.
and we'd be able to see just how far science can push/enhance the human body.

I read in the paper that some Aussie bookie was giving 25/1 that NZ will not win a single medal (any medal!) at the Olympics.

I'd so like to have a go on those odds.

Oddly enough the same bookie made the Evers-Swindells sisters the favourtites to win gold in the Womens' Rowing.

Oh, and with Thorpe, Hoogie and Phelps the swimming events might be worth watching.

Well, I'll only be watching Thorpie for his awesome swimming ability. I have absolutely no interest in seeing how his body has developed since last time I saw him swim. Same goes for the cyclists' drug pumped butts and thighs.

As far as the rest of the olympics is concerned, I don't care. Except the cross country horse riding, that shit is awesome, and I don't even ride horses regularly. :)

Yeah, it pays to be sports obsessed a times. Lets make the most of it now cause when it comes to track and field we are gonna get burned. Its funny how the US have resorted to using the overall medal count system to guage how they are going cause they arnt getting many gold medals. Also, go the aussie boxers! There have been some great fights so far.

I sat for two hours today and watched the womens triathlon... for nothing. The aussie girl led from start to, well, 5 seconds before the finish. Poor girl would be devistated. On the bright side she got to swim/cycle/run around in a swimsuit that can be best described as green Glad-wrap. Huzzah for my eyes.
