Damn straight. The reason I say it is a myth is because I don't believe in that "soulmate" non-sense. I think if you spend a long period of time with anyone you will eventually love/like them and get used to their company to the point where you don't want to lose them, it is only natural (not always the case, there are some people who can't stand eachother), but to say there is a perfect match for everyone is crap in my opinion. Oh well....I just ended a four year relationship several months ago, and I couldn't care less, single is the way to go man. There is much more time to catch up on the real joys of life.

I want kids, I just have no desire to get married, I'll live with a woman forever but I don't dig marriage.

But what are the laws, etc there as far as a relationship with kids? Is there no such thing as 'common law marriage' or whatever, where if you live with someone for a certain length of time it's considered married?

Shit I forgot all about this, I think after living together for 6 months or a year people are considered common law here, as for kids I don't know the laws and such.
