Do you read on the pot?

A simple yes or no will of course answer the question, but if you do...what do you read? If not, why the hell not?

No. I prefer daydreaming. Plus, I frequently get ideas and solve problems while doing my duty.

In my bathroom I have a book stand

It's got at least 3 issues of Uncle John's Bathroom Reader
I have the ladies Bathroom reader, a few of the Worst Case ... books -

I get all my trivia knowledge from the books that are in my bathroom

I like to shit and get off the pot. Who likes to shit and be in a room that stinks? Although there are times when I take those long long dumps, that I wish I brought a novel...

just a glance at the front page of the morning newspaper & i'm outta there!

The comics page of the local paper first thing at work every morning :)

I've never been much of a reader on the can, I guess I like to focus all my attention on the job at hand. No need to waste time by reading on the shitter.

You can shit without reading? Why didn't anybody tell me? There are times where I'm running around my house looking for something while desperately trying to hold it in.

Ha, Ha, Ha...I've been waiting for a really good one, to jump in here. I'm the same way Batman, hell when I'm desperate I'll grab anything to read. You know it's bad when you reach under the bathroom sink, and settle for reading the back of a box of Tampax!

Our "pot" room resembles a doctors waiting room - a large selection of magazines for just this reason, ranging from motorcycle, sport, trashy "gossip", cooking and home renovation.

Something for anybody to read, and you never have to search the house wondering what to take with you.

Now, why would this place exist if it wasn't intended for people to read in the bathroom...

In my next house Im insisting that my bookcase be in my bathroom...its the only place I get to read where Im not interupted right now I just have a stack of books in there

I tried to read in there once, but I got too interested in the story to do my bidness...

At work it's a little too obvious what I'm going to do, so I stopped. I only read while at home and can relax.

I do. Usually a Maxim Magazine or a Stephen King book.

Me too, because I know i'll have to use it a few minutes from then.
