It seems to me that this would have been a much simpler question had you been living in the UK. There are a few stores in Canada that sell this sort of stuff but they don't seem to be quite as popular here. I did find one place out in Vancouver that sold ultraviolet pens.

OmegaSphere

Otherwise, it looks like you're going to have to mail order from outside the country.

losthellhound 07-10-2004 07:23 AM

Hmm.. I'm not sure where else you could get some.. Your best bet might be to order some online

Linky to Inky

That stuff doesn't look to be ultraviolet. I looked it up on Google, and it looks to me like it's just regular Indian ink, the kind they use in comic books.

If I remember my chemistry, any oil based ink will glow under black light, but I have not tried any to see if it's invisible. You could try it with some oil as an experiment.

Well I tried..

Sorry, I wasn't trying to put you down or anything. I was just making an observation.

Now i'm interested in some invisible ink that you could only see under black light.

The gross but cheap way would be to fill a marker with cat piss- it glows under ultraviolet but your can't see it in normal daylight. Smells like cat piss though. Unless that's what you're going for.

I'm not going to even ask how you know that.

It's cool skier, it's almost to the point of common knowlidge.

skier 07-15-2004 10:36 AM

Well you're not asking, but i'll tell ya anyway.

Few weeks back a cat pissed on my window and I couldn't see where to clean it up. A few people suggested that I find it by black light because it glows in ultraviolet. I don't have a black light though so it didn't happen. Learned that because of it though.
