Vegemite not Kosher!
 

The Jewish community has banned Vegemite as Kraft can no longer guarantee it's Kosher. Needless to say there are some pretty distressed members of the Jewish community at the moment. I'd be an unhappy little vegemite if I couldn't eat the stuff!

Never went for it myself... pisses me off too, feel a bit unaussie :(

I hate the stuff, but then.. I'm not a natural aussie.. that's probably why.

Its ok, its not like i'd shoot myself or anything. Its pretty sad that its not even australian owned. Ive always thought that promite had a superior taste, and that marmite is really crap.

Vegimite n cheese is the go, on toast i love it ;)

Spread thickly on raisin toast with lots of butter. Yum.

Vegemite on toast is the best hangover cure I've found.

Must be all that vitamin B.

And there I was thinking vitamin B was beer.

It's not gluten free so it's off my list (damn, I love the stuff. Particularly on toast under poached eggs). Mighty Might is filling the void but nothing is as good as the real thing.

Yet another reason to be glad I'm not a Jew (no disrepect indended)
