Seems to me mom and dad are gone a lot. Might be less damage in general if the kid had more parental supervision. He's only 13 years old, so it's not like he's "mature for his age" or any of that other bullshit people use. He's a year over 12. Plus - I think he's going to be worse in the future if he's starting on the alcohol at that age.

Stay home, mom. Raise your kid instead of letting him raise himself!
