Seen these before. "Joyce" still gives me a boner...
And "Cuntry Church" seriously rock! Gotta luv them sweater vests! |
let me touch him - the ministers quartet.
wow. these are great, thanks |
Not exaclt the cover, but the actual album itself..
band called "Chikken" Album called "Which came first" Album: White Vinyl with a yellow centre... I just HAD to buy it... could.... not..... resist...... |
Funny stuff, while also so very very sad...
|
this inspired me to take more pictures of a select few of my LP collection and spa....uh share them here.
Starting with the cheesy and moving from there: 0) 1977 Andy Gibb - bought it for the title track and the f*&cker has serious skips on that part http://www.torlian.net/pics/web_pics...ow_Dancing.jpg 1) Culture Club - all of them looking 'a wee bit lavender' on this cover. Or 'flaming' in the case of the lead singer/ http://www.torlian.net/pics/web_pics...by_Numbers.jpg 2) Peter Pan Records - the cover is better than the contents in this case. Verbatim text from the bottom: 'Another FUN ALBUM for your listening or dancing pleasure from IRWIN THE DISCO DUCK & THE WIBBLE WABBLE SINGERS & ORCHESTRA' one of those WTF moments...just looked a bit closer and noticed that both Petty Officer First Class Irwin 'the sailor with the hair too long for regulation even in the 1970's' and the girl literally 'shaking her tail feathers' both have the identical pink colour on their fingernails http://www.torlian.net/pics/web_pics...n_the_Navy.jpg 3) egads! http://www.torlian.net/pics/web_pics...ht_Fiedler.jpg 4) The tile track 'Cool Water' is one of my all time favourite songs ever and the painting on the cover is perfect. http://www.torlian.net/pics/web_pics...Cool_Water.jpg 5)*both sentences spontaneous thoughts just now* The intelligent looking train reminds of Blaine from the Dark Tower books. Looking at that again just now gives me some good ideas for a horror story involving a physcopathic bi-polar clown, constantly drunk elephant, and wherever else the others fit in. http://www.torlian.net/pics/web_pics...es_Stewart.jpg |
Hey now... Sons of the Pioneers... be gentle! One of my fave's....

Perhaps I should have said that not all of those are meant to be included in the 'Worst LP covers ever' department. |
