While I'm all for animal rights, and that picture is sad. I do agree that PETA takes it too far.

While a good idea in concept, they take it *ENTIRELY* too far, doing nothing but annoying the shit out of everyone.

oh, i figured it must be something like that, but i was kind of hoping that Peta was someones ex-girlfriend who dumped them, so they got all of their redneck buddies together and killed a whole lot of animals in her honour or something.

its just a few geese... plenty more where they came from. And that picture made me laugh... Hard, and a lot.

Shooting birds for the dinner table is not a redneck past time. Its food for their families, legally taken BTW. These guys just had a great day and wished to let PETA know how they felt about their ways.

Yesterday some woman from PETA painted herself like a tiger and wearing nothing but black panties caged herself with a sign that said "wild animals should not be caged" She sat out in front of Illinois's old state capital building. She was in protest of the circus coming to town... there are better ways to get your point across then strippin down to your skibbies and painting yourself.....

but it's not as much fun!

All you need to know about PETA is that they have given money to fund the legal defenses of terrorists.

Sounds good... sign me up for the "People for Eating Tasty Animals".

Well, as with most things, there are "tree huggers", and then there are "TREE HUGGERS".
While I consider myself an environmentalist (conservationalist, actually), organizations such as PETA just give fuel to the likes of Rush, Hannity and friends, and serve no good to anyone.
By the way...I am a hunter.

PETA should be ashamed. If they did not exist then those guys may have not slaughtered those animals. PETA has the death of those geese on their deeply wounded souls.
