Two men are in the desert, man #1 is alive and has an empty pack, man #2 is dead and has a full pack...

Why is man #2 dead?

man 2 died of dehydration. the full pack was of water while the first guy drank all his and was still alive.

Man #2 was a bigger, stronger, macho guy and decided to carry the load for both of them, which explains why Man #1 is still alive. Brains beats cojones most of the time. :D
