Why is man #2 dead?

man 2 died of dehydration. the full pack was of water while the first guy drank all his and was still alive.

Man #2 was a bigger, stronger, macho guy and decided to carry the load for both of them, which explains why Man #1 is still alive. Brains beats cojones most of the time.
