Why the hell...!?!
Why the hell are there threads on the inside of my bathroom sink drain!?! :hmm:
|
Hmmm...dunno for sure but it doesn't sound like anything a little draino (foamer) wouldn't cure.
|
is your drain linked to the nonsense forum?
|
i blame Astrocloud.
this sounds like his work. did you get hypnotised? |
What I mean is the inside of the drain is threaded like a bolt, but I see no reason for it to be.
It's not like I'm going to be screwing something into it. Also, this thread was supposed to be everyones' "Why the hell...!?! thread, if they had one. ;) |
maybe it's to screw in a drain cover- so that items that would normally fall into the drain (like a ring) would instead be caught by the cover for easy retreival. heh
Why the HELL can't I hook up my stereo system to my computer without splicing various cords? Is it that hard to include a normal audio out jack in the audio card? |
Is it towards the top of the drain, or the bottom? If on the bottom, drains can have threads so that an extension piece can be connected to make plumbing easier. Towards the top it can be used for drain plugs, and on a few that I've seen, these cross-shaped pieces that will prevent objects from falling through.
