Super Hero/Super Villain?

So, which would it be? You find yourself bitten by a radioactive spider, or you have a mutant healing factor and claws in your arms. Do you fight for the side of all that is good and right? Or do you... not.

While I think I am a decent person, I am pretty sure I would fight for the side of evil. Just so I could give someone else the chance to be the goodguy... and crush them!

i'm not a Super-Villain per se... i'm more of a Super-Villains side-kick...

and i'm seeking employment...

anyone want an evil off-sider??

Hail Bundy!

With you at my side, we would crush all those who stood in our way. We would also crush those that took their place on the way back. We would go forward and backwards continuously crushing until everything was a fine pink paste.

It will be glorious.
That is, if you are interested.

<img src="http://www.wilsonwall.hpg.ig.com.br/underdog.jpg">

When criminals in this world appear
And break the laws that they should fear
And frighten all who see or hear
The cry goes up both far and near
For Underdog! Underdog! Underdog! Underdog!

Speed of lightning, roar of thunder
Fighting all who rob or plunder

Underdog. Underdog!

When in this world the headlines read
Of those whose hearts are filled with greed
Who rob and steal from those who need
To right this wrong with blinding speed
Goes Underdog! Underdog! Underdog! Underdog!

Speed of lightning, roar of thunder
Fighting all who rob or plunder
Underdog. Underdog!

Wait! I'm pretty sure there's a middle ground here.
Who says it has to be one or the other?
And why, when I suddenly found myself with superpowers, wouldn't I just use them to enhance my normal everyday activities?

Unless they change your whole personality around, I can't see myself saving the world. Just maybe my neighborhood. ;)

I'd try the hero angle at first. :D

I chose evil, but in reality neither. Id use it to benefit myself, and my own, without harming anyone in the process more then likely.

But you never know, Im sure a few purely evil acts would ensue, just becasue.

Astrocloud 02-18-2004 07:42 AM

I choose good although it's painfully obvious that from reading comics that the most evil villains are motivated by good intentions. I guess I choose the good side so I can make it with her:

(Although I'm not sure she's into white guys)

Batman976 02-18-2004 07:46 AM

Evil will always triumph because good is dumb!

(Is it strange that this is coming from a good Superhero?)

Lunchbox7 02-18-2004 08:10 AM

I have always barracked for the villains (if they are good enough) in books/movies/comics etc but I think in reality (the irony) I would be a hero.

Scorps 02-18-2004 09:03 AM

I don't get comic books the Villian always has way more power then the Hero but the Hero always wins!

Lunchbox7 02-18-2004 10:43 AM

I found that a major theme in the comics I read (marvel) was that there was so little seperating the hero and the villian. A heap of the villians would become heros and vice-versa. Prof X and Magneto are best of friends but arch nemisis. Both Gambit and Rogue were bad guys before they became Xmen. Apocalypse tries to weed out the weak as only the strong will survive. He in his own warped way is trying to make the world a better place. A hero type quality. Same with Magneto, who actually lead the xmen for a while. So Sorry I have to disagree with the villian having more powers.

I like the way that both use their powers in new innovative ways to become more powerfull. For example Magneto will stop the iron in your blood flowing to your brain to make you pass out or Ice man transporting around as pure ice etc.

monody 02-18-2004 02:32 PM

hey- think of this. Peter Parker always tried to do good, but in the original comics he was never loved.
Could you be an unappreciated hero and still keep to your ethics?

Bob Biter 02-18-2004 03:07 PM

Despite what Tina Turner might say, we DO need another hero, for the Flood are coming...

Master Chief and me, we're gonna fuck you up.

skier 02-18-2004 08:37 PM

I'd be the hero, because I always win. Except that time superman died. And that time venom ate spiderman.

I think I would be jsut a superguy, with super powers. Living my own life, at a job that my powers would ensure good pay, and raising some superkids to do my house chores.

Smimpinj 02-19-2004 07:36 PM

I don't know I would probably start off as a super hero...but then I would have Robin as a sidekick and hate him. So I would eventually become an evil shadow of myself. Who secretly likes the smell of lilac.

Tophat665 02-25-2004 05:45 PM

Ot's not so much that I would prefer to be a super villian as it is when the choice is put that way, it just makes more sense, for the love of the masses is ever a fickle thing, just ask Terence Trent D'arby (if you can find him.)
