Wild guesses and comments are fine. In fact, they can add to the mystery and are fun to read.

The Case:
An oversized rodent lives more than 60 years. Although his voice and appearance change over this time period, he never appears to get older. Employing the use of special techniques, a group of experts believe the rodent will live virtually forever.

The Mystery:
What do the experts do for a living, and what is the rodent's name?
