Even though I'm a single girl and should probably hate Valentine's Day....I don't! I love it. I just think it's vastly over-rated and over-commercialized. But that's just me!

But deep down, I'm just a soft & mushy girl who loves the whole romantic side of it! *sigh*

So yes....pass the champagne and raise a toast to Cupid. Cheers to all the happy couples out there!

This year, I will love it. It is the first time Ive actually spent it with my lady. I was never able to spend one with my first g/f, and with my g/f now Ive been at school while shes been miles away.

This year, Im flying in for the weekend just to be with her.

It will be a wonderful weekend.

i used to buy a bunch of roses and pass them to women I knew and liked, hoping to get a little closer.

then she stomped on my heart like a disabled spider in the path of an elephant charge and so I'm a little bit bitter.

Hmmm... I'm torn between the voting. I want to vote for "OMG send me roses!!!!" But I also really would like to vote for "i'll drink to that! please, pass the champagne." Any excuse to drink is a good one for me.

I have never in my life had a girlfriend on valentines... came close with cathy... we were still dating and everything... but we had a fight two days before and were "split up" until march....

I couldn't vote, because yes it is a special day, but I like being romantic and getting/doing romantic things on any given day. I don't think having one day designated for LOVE is as special as unplanned events/gifts or surprises on any given day.
Just two days ago, my husband comes home from the store and handed me a beautiful bouquet of orange roses. He is the best at picking out the most beautiful roses and I dry and keep them all.

I think it's just another excuse to eat candy.

Humm its worse when you are Engaged(sp), they want a nice dinner and stuff. Thank god we didn't get married...I couldn't see my self as a Father/Husband at 19.......father at 17 was bad enough, she just tried to make it worse!
