Wild guesses and comments are fine. In fact, they can add to the mystery and are fun to read.

The Case:
A woman is working diligently in a lab when she gets a tremendous urge to smoke. There aren't any "No Smoking" signs posted, and the chemicles she is working with are not a fire hazard. As soon as she lights up, however, her boss fires her for destroying his work.

The Mystery: What was her boss' profession?
