Jager and coke?
Does this drink work?
I'm in thailand right now and am introducing the wonderful Jagermeister to them, but the don't like drinking things straight, so I'm thinking of some soda to mix it with |
how can you make the poor people of thailand drink Jager have they not suffered enough?

I think you are thinking of Goldschlager, silent_jay. Jagermeister is a dark liquor with a strong anise/black liquorish taste. nasty stuff imo. but to each his own.

Straight is plenty good but I have been told with Dr Pepper its good I cannot verify this though. I prefer kamakazes(sp?)

Yes, Jager and coke will work. It actually tastes slightly like Dr Pepper in my opinion. But why would you ruin/waste such a great tasting, expensive liquer, by mixing it?

oh, and Batman976, FYI, Mountain Dew is completely non-existant in places other than the US as far as I've heard. I think the same goes for Dr. Pepper, but I am unsure.

so Jager and Coke worked out pretty well, a bit sweet, but a little soda water helped neutralized it.
The 151 that I brought was what got them.... and me.. :P |

Jager and Goldschlager are great together. The herby goodness that burns as it goes down.

For me, Jaeger is fine straight, but the only mixes I have had with it are:
Staggering Bishop: Jager, Baileys, and Frangelico Pepe Hitler: Jaeger & Tequila Red Headed Slut: Not a clue - tasty though. |
I've had a jager barrell gefore - the jager and root beer schnapps - also mixed with some sprite or 7-up. pretty tasty.
