I am joining together a band of rugged adventurers to start a new civilization, loosely based on the city of Rivendell from the J.R.R Toiken Clasic The Lord Of The Rings!

Together we will build a thriving city deep in the forest of... somewhere... yet to be determined.

I will consider everyone on a case by case basis, and from the picture, I can give it a probabilty rating (of 1-10, 10 being yes, and 1 being no) of goat. Although, our soon to be legendary undertaking will need a whipping boy... I will give it more thought...hmmmmmmmmmmmm.. nope, I will have to go with my first instinct of goat.

I might like to visit. Do you allow my kind to stroll gaily down your leafy boulevards? I might enjoy the perfumed air and the tinkling of Elven laughter for a day or so from time to time. Perhaps I could summer there when the heat index indicates discomfort. Allow this post to represent my application for a tour.

Giant Hamburger, I will be opening up the gates to our city to anyone who would like to visit, the only stipulation will be that first time visitors will have to wear name tags, sorry, no exceptions! And for the reccord, this is not a "horde" this is a legendary undertaking! Come on now people, how many times do I have to keep repeating those two words?
I will consider your suggestion shalafi, bob is a fine name for a goat or a mock elvish city... I will have to give this name more thought; Hmmmmmmmmm, nope, it's a name for a goat.

I'm thinking of Ickmaland or Ickmaville. something with me in it because everything is much better that way. I at least want a park with my name on it. Oh and I also want to join. Is this a BYOB event?

I have much desire to retire in your soon to be founded Elvish haven. I am not of the Elven kind, however. I am a halfling (of prodigious size - I am as big as many humans) and I am quite fond of all things Elven. I am called Puric in my homeland, and my toes are indeed quite hairy.

OHH OHH MEE! I can hear things and i live a long time and stuff. I'm like elvish or something (plus I know how to shoot a bow like a demon). And I think we should call te city Estel (= holy land in Elvish).

Will there be Barbeque? Do we hafta eat elvish food?

There will be barbeque, and General Tso's Chicken, and whatever else you might want. Amarth, Estel is indeed a great name for a elvish-like city, but I kinda had my hopes set on Denver.. I will open it up for discussion.

I agree that "Bob" is a terrific name for such an excellent undertaking. It's simple, yet catchy. People will be drawn from the darkest reaches of... of... uh... Mordor... yeah... to partake of the riches and beauty of this great city. I would be glad to be a part of it and take up the role of Lush In Chief. Indeed, my tanking, chugging, hoisting and boot & rally skills are honed to perfection and your city will gain much character by my presence alone. In the very least, it will thin tourist traffic to a more manageable level.

I will visit, but only if the damn elves don't sing. I hate elves singing. They are always going on with some mopey tune from 1000 years ago. If I hear one more elf singing, I am going to grab him by his pointy ears and drown his head in a bucket of piss! So, when can I visit?

Hmm, you know, South central is up for grabs again. Better snap that one up before some other ethnic enclave does, though you might want to hold out for Neverland. I figure that'll be on the market in not too long.

Ponté Aeriae could be another good name, or Nerdoiran, or San Fransisco.

Maybe you could live in a hollow tree and make cookies and wafers to sell to us humans.
