well, i'm gonna hafta take a big fat F (failing letter) for this thread, cuz i don't think i could describe any alphabet letter with 100-150 words.

I enjoy the letter G.
It has roots in the Greek letter Gamma.
It harkens back to the seminal days of ancient Rome.

First a brief history...
"Gamma" is the same word as "camel", in Semitic "gimel". The letter actually does look like a camel's head. This letter passed into the Latin alphabet in this position in a curved form as our "C". The Etruscans did not distinguish between the "g" and "k" sounds, so Greek gamma came to have the "k" sound in Latin. The Romans needed another letter for the "g" sound, so they added a bar to the "C" to get "G".

Kiant Hamburger does not ring well to me. I can't imagine walking up to Bones and saying, "'sup K?" Churches would experience confusion preaching the work of their one true Kod.

Think of all of the wonderfull things that you could do with the letter "Q"
I couldn't possibly list them all here there are so many.
And least we all forget... the "Q" is just an "O" with a penis, making it the most erotic letter by far.

My favorite letter of the alphabet is 12. Yup. It is the least-commonly seen letter in the alphabet and was dropped some time during the 1st century... I think :) It had an ambiguous use, for example one could say, "My, George, your garden 12 swell."

It could also randomly replace letters within a word, for example: "Holy moth12r of God, J12mmy! That worm is 12ig!"

That is a brief history of the letter 12.

The letter 'E' is my favorite, because it is the most common, therefore the easiest to construct words with. This comes especially handy when playing Bookworm (danger: don't click if you have work to finish by a deadline)

Seriously, 'E' is one excellent letter. Not only is it the most used, but it scores you points in Bookworm (and, therefore, chicks)! What more could you want?

Aye, it is odd shaped and a co-dependent letter, leaning on the support of it's cousin "U" - but that apparent weakness is a ruse. designed to throw off the weak minded. Q is a mighty letter indeed - signifying greatness. Why, did Q not exist, we would have no Quincy Jones. And the helpless citizens of England would walk around wondering how to pronouce "Ueen". The gridiron general on a football field would be known only as the "B".
