My wife ordered it months ago. We expect that it will be delivered over the weekend or by Monday at the latest.
If you knew us, you would not be surprised at this.

Lurkette and I will probably wade through hip-deep children to buy a copy this weekend.
That said, it may not be that bad. The day the last one was out, she sauntered into our local Barnes & Noble, walked up to the HUGE stack of books, grabbed one, and walked straight over to checkout. Hardly a soul in sight, she said. |

Getting the book, and getting the book on CD as well.
Jim Dale kicks ass.

I reserved it at our local Barnes & Noble.
The saleslady told me they were having a Harry Potter party a couple of hours before Midnight. *ugh* Then I find out there was a murder in Barnes & Noble, and now I just don't know what I'll do. Who kills someone in a Barnes & Noble? *sheesh!*

I can honestly say I have not read one book or seen either movie. Not planning on doing either any time soon.

For those of you who have not read any of the Harry Potter books, why not?

I'm most definately going to buy it!!!!!!
I'm soo excited about the book...I feel kinda silly ...I'm that excited! Some of the local book stores are hosting overnight parties but I doubt I'll go...I'd be like the only adult...sounded kinda neat though..my favorite book store is going to have a life size shadow of Hadgid for people to compare themselves to. I just finished the 4th book last night for the 2nd time...(I wanted to have the books fresh in my mind for the new one) I work with an 82 year old woman and she's just as excited as I am about the new book....these books seem to cross the age gap that's for sure

Soon as they have it at Costco.
That's where I bought the other four in hardback.

Macheath, there are two more after this one.
BBtB,these books which are released at a very slow pace (3yrs since last one) do not distract me from the pile of non-fiction that I have to read. That distraction comes easily from sleep, TV, computer...

Got it!
Now I just have to wait for Molly to finish reading it so I can jump in. Remarkably, we got the 1st copy at the store since we'd reserved a copy. Lots of grumpy folks ahead of us who had to go to the back of the line. Bwahahaha. Oh, and it's Trevor that dies.
