Am I too early to close this? So be it.

Jetee takes this round. I really wanted an explanation of the doubled characters and the partial nudity. Jetee's answer was so concise that I thought I was in a regular videogame thread, and had to doublecheck the page title.

Xerxys 02-05-2010 06:41 AM

^^ But was it funny?

Redlemon 02-05-2010 07:01 AM

Yes. I like my humor dry.

Son of a B!!!!

:)

Jetée 02-05-2010 02:35 PM

Wow. Backhanded compliment. Still got the win at least.

Gonna check my picture portfolio for a good one and starting the newest round within the next few hours.

Redlemon 02-05-2010 07:18 PM

Not backhanded at all. I loved it, Jetee.

Jetée 02-05-2010 07:34 PM

Man, how I get backed up in a hurry.
(thanks, RedLemon, for inadvertently reminding me that I was actually suppose to start this newest round back up almost 3 hours ago.)

Alright, a few more seconds, and.......

have away at it!

I thought I told you not to bring that toga to work.

Why, yes, daughter. I will extend your Rumspringa another two weeks!!

Jetée 02-08-2010 02:57 PM

When did I start this? Alright, three days have passed, and three participants' have enter their ballots (one of which I really think takes the cake).

Three more days for anyone else to send in your write-in ticket for this round's crown.

Gabbyness 02-09-2010 04:13 AM

Jet, I gotta say, this is one of the best pics I've seen in a while for captions. It's really limitless.

Thank you. I have a very replete inventory of pics in my portfolio, so I really try to maximize my opportunites at hosting a new round whenever I can.
If not, pictures like the one above just lay about, biding.

And with the final entry of this week's round, I announce the winner. Sorry Xerxys, for quoting you and maybe giving you a false sense of victory (even though I really liked your caption) but, this weeks best caption goes to . . .

Yes, Fremen. Very choice selection of a short story's weave. The Parenthood woes and Amish reference made my day.

Fremen 02-11-2010 07:51 PM

Wow, who says watching dumb movies doesn't get you anywhere?

I recently watched "Sex Drive", with Seth Green as an Amish man that knows a lot about repairing automobiles.
It was funny in parts, but mostly because I have a friend that looks just like the sidekick buddy in the film.

Thanks for the pick.

Ok, here's the next pic:

"You said costume party!"
"No I didn't! I said Theme-Dress. There's a difference"
"That means costume!"
(Through clenched teeth...) "Shut up and keep waving at the camera."

Soem men are afraid of commitment, but this one is downright chicken.

I liked Jehu's the best. Though, Top's came a close second.
Congrats, Jehu. Your turn.

Jehu 02-21-2010 05:34 PM

Thanks. I'll post something tomorrow.

Jehu 02-23-2010 07:35 AM

I tried to post this with my "smart" phone but I had to wait until I got back to my desktop. Sorry for the delay. Let's see what we can do with this:

Note to self: dried beans are not an appropriate substitue when you are out of fish food.

Oh my. I'd say the folks in my office were wondering if I've gone crazy if they weren't already certain of it and wondering what set me off this time. Well done.

Redlemon 02-23-2010 11:35 AM

Thanks! Top, it took me a second read, but I appreciate the subtlety of the 'betta' joke.

I would rather try to be highbrow, but sometimes there's no way to pass on the fart joke.

Anyway, just saw this one in Make Love Not War Images, and liked it:
