Inappropriate Christmas music videos
 

These have been popping up in various blogs I read, so I thought I'd start a list here.

First, the least inappropriate. Did you ever notice that "O Come All Ye Faithful" has the same opening melody as "We're Not Gonna Take It"? I did back in 1985. Someone finally told Twisted Sister (YouTube).

What's the better gift to give your loved one? Take your pick from these suggestions by The Wet Spots (GoodieBag) or Saturday Night Live (YouTube).

Anyone have more?

THe Twisted Sister wasn't bad but watching Billy Idol sing Jingle Bell Rock, with a smile glued to his face...... that's fuckin scary

Ouch. If you hadn't identified him as Billy Idol, I don't think I would have figured it out on my own. He's not used to smiling, is he? More of a painful grimace. Perhaps someone was holding a knife to a kitten's throat offstage, "smile or the kitten gets it"?

so now instead of mommy and santa kissing under the tree, he's gotta be fisting her!

christmas carols

Bumping this one for the Christmas season again. And I went out and bought the album "A Twisted Christmas" by Twisted Sister; it is amazing. It's not merely hard versions of standard Christmas carols - it's mashups of metal songs with standard Christmas carols. Songs like "War Pigs", "You've Got Another Thing Coming", and "Never Say Die". Go buy it.
